I brought my Pacifica in for recalls. The service department scheduled me for a Thursday. I was given a rental but only for 2 days, after which I had to pay $50/ day. According to the representative, the service garage was backed up but they would try to get my vehicle done by the weekend, to avoid me having to pay for several days of rental. They were so backed up and slow that I didn’t get my car back until the following Tuesday (5 days total) causing my an expense of $150 for a simple recall work that involved updating some software and resetting codes. Probably 45 mins of work total. If they were t able to get to my car until Tuesday, why would they schedule me for service on a Thursday, knowing full well that there would be a significant delay, costing me money for their rental - on a fully covered recall service. I will only go here because it is the closest Chrysler dealership and only one within an hour drive. Previous experience when shopping for cars in 2021 here was also poor. Sales person took me on test drives in vehicles she knew nothing about. Every question I asked about features and performance was answered with “I’m not sure, we’ll have to ask my manager back at the dealer after the test drive. I drove 3 vehicles that day - all hybrids - none of them were charged so I was unable to test the hybrid drive systems. There was 1 2020 Pacifica hybrid that I was interested in within my budget, but it mysteriously had to be kept there and wasn’t ready to sell. It didn’t have a charger, and the shop didn’t seem to know how to charge it. A day later they told me that car was no longer available and tried to sell me a newer model that was $10,000 more than the previous one. Shady and subpar experience from sales and now also service. Called to set up an appointment for my 2021 3500 RAM Laramie. Was told had to bring it to the Davenport dealership. This was due to weight of my vehicle. Was quoted 300 dollars for the service to include a car wash. I did not let them know at that time I had a service plan. I arrived at my appointment at 1045am. My vehicle was serviced at the quick lane. Not at the bay that had the proper lift. The service took 3 hrs and fifteen minutes. The tires were never rotated, the technician was covered in diesel, technician asked for a supervisor to move the vehicle. He did not get help having to get on to the truck causing it to smell like diesel in the cabin. My truck was never washed and was changed 504 dollars. Left a message on their portal for a management. Never received a response. I knew the price was to low simply though it was a special. Did not expect my truck to be serviced at the quick lane. This is why it took so long, I did expect a car wash, I was told I would get one, did not expect a supervisor not to help a technician; knowing he was covered in diesel. Expected a call from manager, after leaving grievance on their portal. More
