Crooks - Poor Service I just left Port Jefferson Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I have had consistently bad service from every Dodge dealership I have been to. My experience with Nic I just left Port Jefferson Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I have had consistently bad service from every Dodge dealership I have been to. My experience with Nick Meola at PJ Dodge was no different. I made an appointment with this dealership because it is local and I purchased my previous Dodge Ram from this dealership. While on vacation in Hilton Head SC, the engine failed (valve failure) in this Ram. The dealership in Hilton Head spent 10 days attempting to fix the engine but reinstalled the timing belt upside down when putting the engine back together. Upon test driving the vehicle, the service technician blew the engine a second time. Having no confidence in Dodge's ability to repair the truck, I reluctantly purchased a replacement Dodge Ram from the dealership so that I could return home. this vehicle came with a full warranty. A couple months later, the parking sensor in the front bumper failed. Upon inspection, it had fallen out of the bumper and was inaccessible inside the bumper compartment. I arranged for service with PJ Dodge. On March 9, 2016, I returned the service department at PJ Dodge and spoke to Nick Meola. I explained the problem and told Nick that the repair should be covered under warranty - as I had very recently purchased the truck. Immediately, Nick Meola started making excuses why the repair wouldn't be covered under warranty - this is before the vehicle was even taken into the service area! While the truck was in the service area, I was confronted by Nick Meola who said he couldn't find the sensor and continued his rhetoric about how it was impossible that the sensor bracket had failed (because he had never experienced that) and that "something" hit the bumper - he even went so far as to create scenarios - "a bird hit the bumper" and narrowed right in on the sensor which is the size of a dime. Just brilliant! It was finally determined that a $12 part was needed to repair the sensor. Nick Meola continued his ranting about how I would have to pay for the part and several hours of service at $65 per hour because "a bird must have hit the sensor". To top off my horrific experience with Nick Meola and PJ Dodge, they attempted to charge me for 30 minutes of service to determine that the sensor had fallen out of the bumper. Of course, I told them this when I entered the service department. After complaining, to the service manager, this fee was waived. More

They are extremely friendl I have purchased many cars from Port Jeff Chrysler Jeep. I find their service department to be one of the best there is. They are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and listen to what you have to say. They have a shuttle service to take you back to your home and will pick you up when car is ready. It is because of their service and friendly ways that I keep going back. Plus they gave me the best price on a trade-in and worked with me on a new car purchase. More

Service on a repeated issue Brought in my Dodge Durango for an engine light issue which was incorrectly addressed by another Dodge service department. absolute worst customer service ever.. bought on 2010 jeep liberty with extended warranty from this dealership own a 2001 jeep liberty This has got to be the worst dealership ever... I dropped off my 2001 jeep Grand Cherokee for a safety notice/ recall. I had a 8am appointment for Tuesday that I scheduled a week in advance, I dropped it off Monday night. About 3pm Tuesday I called for an update on my Jeep and they said there was no update and that they will call me when its done. 630pm I called again and asked for an update, still no update but I was promised it would be done today..... so I didn't call again, also i was not called. I showed up 10 minutes before the service department closes and my Jeep was just getting finished. So I asked what they did, the recall I was there for was for the aftermarket hitch that could cause a gas tank leak in an accident. They told me that they inspected it and it needed to replaced so they took off mine and that they don't have the new hitch in stock. Meanwhile when I made the appointment I asked if they will have parts in stock and they said yes they will. Then as I went to leave my other jeep I drove there (purchased there less than a year go) to pick up the one being serviced was acting up and wouldn't start and I asked the man behind the service desk to have a tech come out and just listen to it. So I could have an idea if I can drive it home and his response was " no all the guys are off at 8, i cant help you". absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced More

We took our automobile in for an oil change- they convinced us to do other important things to our car to learn they screwed up the car breaks- while our car was in for service- they claimed we had a flat tire- I know my car did not have a flat tire when we brought it in... They called to say- we needed to buy a new tire- mean while the tire had a slit on the inside of the wheel. Basically, they damage your car and expect you to pay for the repairs- just so they can make money... They have a monthly Quota to meet each month.. Stay far away people! More
