First off I made an appointment for my car to go in over 2 weeks a Worst customer service in service and sales I have ever experienced from any place! First off I made an appointment for my car to go in over 2 weeks ago. Then when my car was dropped off for service they had to hold it over night because they could figure out the problem. If you ask me they didnt get to my car at all. They called me the day after I brought my car in for service to tell me that they couldnt do anything for my car and that they had to order a piece for the car that wouldn't be in for over a week. Now I have a child and already had to make arrangements yesterday for me to even have a car today bc they do not do loaners. When I picked up my car this afternoon no one showed me where my car was parked. A service member didnt even advice me of any information about what is going on with my car. The service manager, Alex was very nasty to me over the phone when I tried to explain my situation then he hung up the phone on me for no reason. I have owned 3 Jeeps and I am turning my Jeep in as we speak out of the disrespect and the inconvenience they put me through. I dont even care i have 5 more months on the lease. I want nothing to do with this car. More
Dont agree with them they ban you from dealership!! Wish i could give this dealership and their service department 0 stars! My truck had a defect which i complained about since day one. After going through the channels to get it warrantied. Was then told this dealership is “preferred” and can make warranty decisions. They go on to tell me i will have to pay 2,000 for the part along with the labor and if Jeep says the part was in-fact a defect i would not have to worry about it, if it wasn't i would have to pay! Never in my life i have i ever heard of such a ridiculous thing. Corporate was even shocked as it should have been said to them before the customer. I then called and spoke to the owner of the dealership, told him the story then he called me back and verified that i must pay first. I said i will not and i felt that the service department was taking advantage of me because I was a woman. He then tells me “we don't discriminate even if your black”. Who says that to a customer???!!! You don't know on the other end my race nor anything. It was very unprofessional and disgusting!! Then i get a call from customer care saying the dealership don't want to work on my car. So they screw me being that no other dealership will work on another dealerships car. This is what they do when they don't like what you say and that you don't agree to pay them for work thats a warranty and the owner doesn't owe for? Its a disgusting way to do business! Prior to this, another warranty with a defective rim it was covered and replaced, i had another rim same thing they gave me a hard time about submitting the claim, and said in front of another customer to my face. I don't agree with you and this is taking advantage and lying and i will not lie. Im like I'm not lying and its doing the same thing. How dare your service advisor say that. Rude service department and when your right they don't like to be told they are wrong. They do not treat their customers with RESPECT. They wanted me to pay for a rim PS: it was covered by jeep. They try to make money and steal from their customers. Instead of waiting patiently to get paid via jeep. Back to the beginning... i have now went to another dealership on the island as per jeep customer care and for what should have taken port jeff a week to do, took months and their games. The new dealership i went to got a answer same day and was installed the following week! And guess what .... IT WAS COVERED UNDER FACTORY WARRANTY!!!! Not like they told me! Its not right for dealerships like this to be in business and mis lead their customers who also bought the truck from them, and try to rob their money! I hope anyone who reads this has fair warning don't trust their service department nor the owner of the dealership. He’s a cocky and arrogant individual who doesn't know how to talk to a customer!!! And their way out of it is to ban them from the dealership. More
No warranty service unless you purchase vehicle from them? I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that has been to this dealership for service and inspections over the last 2 years. The vehicle, which i I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that has been to this dealership for service and inspections over the last 2 years. The vehicle, which is still under warranty, has a small water leak on the passenger side when using the soft top. I called Port Jeff Jeep to make an appointment to have them look at the vehicle and repair as needed as it's covered under warranty. I was told that they will not do any warranty work on the car since it was not purchased from their dealership! Say What! They were quick to take my money for service and software upgrades, but now they refuse to do any work that is covered under warranty. I was told that is their policy! This should be a quick fix as I have identified the issue, and they will get paid by Corp for the warranty work, but yet they refuse. Very unfortunate as this used to be my go to dealership, until now. I live 5 minutes from another Jeep dealership, but I always went out of my way to give Port Jeff Jeep my business, NO MORE! I will be taking both my Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Durango to another dealership from this day forward. Port Jeff Jeep just lost my business, with 2 vehicles coming off lease in the next year. Sucks for them! Go elsewhere! More

Left a message for the Manager to call me regarding the fact that I could not get an appointment until the end of the month. With two kids and a wedding upstate this weekend I needed either the car fixed or a Loaner. Still waiting for a phone call back. Terrible service, when my lease is up going back to Ford. More

Drove the car 40 miles and the check engine light came back. Took the car into the dealership only to be told that another part needed to change and I have to pay for additional parts and labor. More

As if it wasn't bad enough to return to Port Jeff for service for the same issue 3 or 4 times (I'm losing count) but today this clown calls me and demands to know who authorized the loaner given to my wife this morning BY THEM. Says to bring it back as they are for "customers only". I have bought and serviced a literal fleet of cars there since 2000 , maybe earlier. Recommended the dealership to countless people. Well no more. If this imbecile is who they deem worthy of a management position , I question their judgement. The first time they claimed they fixed a software issue and it was fixed. Then (after i replaced my key fob batteries with new just in case) they said the new batteries were bad and charged me for new ones. Today's drop off was the 3rd or 4th. The loaner was because it was a recurring issue. I didn't buy this 2015 Durango R/T at Port Jeff becuase I was told by a salesman they couldn't get me one. I found 17 at East Hills , who will now be my new servicing dealer and future sales recipient. I was patient even in the face of return trips until this loud mouth called me to bark at me over his incompetence. I called for either the GM (Rich) or owner Scott , but to no avail. However Alex picked up and continued his rude tirade, then actually hung up on me. Needless to say I picked up my Truck and will never look back. I intend to discuss this with a few important FCA friends I have whom I have been fortunate to have met and hang out with over the years as i race two SRT-8's I own at the tracks. I also participate in SRT Rountable engineering discussions on the various forums I belong to. I look forward to spreading the word on Yelp , DealerRatings.com and other social media outlets to forewarn others to deal with Port Jeff at their own risk. Nicely played Alex. More

I made an appointment to get it fixed at Port Jefferson Jeep Chryster, after dropping my car off for the appointment they told me they weren't able to replace the navigation/radio unit and needed to order me a new one. It is now May 24, 2017 THREE months after my initial appointment and I still have NO RADIO. They have done nothing, I have been given the run around by every employee in the dealership and service department. I was told it would be in May 15, on the 15 I called and was told I was misunderstood and it would be in May 18, and now on May 24, making 4 phone calls today alone to Tim in service, Nick in service and Chuck the manager...I STILL HAVE NO RADIO, or even an answer as to when it will be in, I have not even recieved a phone call back. I should have gone to Consumer Affair over a month ago. This dealership and its customer service sucks. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. More
