Crooks - Poor Service I just left Port Jefferson Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I have had consistently bad service from every Dodge dealership I have been to. My experience with Nic I just left Port Jefferson Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I have had consistently bad service from every Dodge dealership I have been to. My experience with Nick Meola at PJ Dodge was no different. I made an appointment with this dealership because it is local and I purchased my previous Dodge Ram from this dealership. While on vacation in Hilton Head SC, the engine failed (valve failure) in this Ram. The dealership in Hilton Head spent 10 days attempting to fix the engine but reinstalled the timing belt upside down when putting the engine back together. Upon test driving the vehicle, the service technician blew the engine a second time. Having no confidence in Dodge's ability to repair the truck, I reluctantly purchased a replacement Dodge Ram from the dealership so that I could return home. this vehicle came with a full warranty. A couple months later, the parking sensor in the front bumper failed. Upon inspection, it had fallen out of the bumper and was inaccessible inside the bumper compartment. I arranged for service with PJ Dodge. On March 9, 2016, I returned the service department at PJ Dodge and spoke to Nick Meola. I explained the problem and told Nick that the repair should be covered under warranty - as I had very recently purchased the truck. Immediately, Nick Meola started making excuses why the repair wouldn't be covered under warranty - this is before the vehicle was even taken into the service area! While the truck was in the service area, I was confronted by Nick Meola who said he couldn't find the sensor and continued his rhetoric about how it was impossible that the sensor bracket had failed (because he had never experienced that) and that "something" hit the bumper - he even went so far as to create scenarios - "a bird hit the bumper" and narrowed right in on the sensor which is the size of a dime. Just brilliant! It was finally determined that a $12 part was needed to repair the sensor. Nick Meola continued his ranting about how I would have to pay for the part and several hours of service at $65 per hour because "a bird must have hit the sensor". To top off my horrific experience with Nick Meola and PJ Dodge, they attempted to charge me for 30 minutes of service to determine that the sensor had fallen out of the bumper. Of course, I told them this when I entered the service department. After complaining, to the service manager, this fee was waived. More

Bad Retailer and Poor Service I now buy my Jeep's at Brown's in Patchogue because of my poor experience with this dealership. I purchased one of my first Jeep's here and they did nothing but play games with me. They kept trying to get more money and change the payments. They even made mistakes on my lease agreement that I noticed before I signed it. They played a lot of shady games. I brought numerous Jeep's and a car to the service department, which has continued to get worse. I had a car where they told me it needed new breaks, tires, and they came up with a crazy high amount for mechanic work. I took it to another mechanic and Brown's; half of the work did not need to be done and the labor was not even close to the crazy numbers they were coming up with. They are nothing buy shady scammers. Stay away and look at the real reviews around on both their dealership and service department. Save a lot of headaches and money and find a new dealership. More

Our sales consultant was Nick Calandrino and he worked diligently to get us the EXACT car we were looking for. We visited the dealership several times and it seemed that Nick was always there to answer our questions. The day we picked up our new Jeep Cherokee, he spent a long time going over all the features and could not have been more accommodating. Our final experience was with Adam Donin, the Finance Manager who was also very friendly and able to answer any questions we had. We would definitely recommend Port Jeff Chrysler Jeep to friends and family and are looking forward to enjoying our new Jeep in the coming years. More

This is my 2nd experience at Port Jeff Jeep and I now have two Jeeps in my household of two. There were four people who helped make this a phenomenal experience. Each person helped me feel like they took a personal interest in my needs and were all instrumental in making my deal happen. Internet customer service Donna Firenze put me in touch with Vanessa Viva-Somri, Sales Consultant, once we found a vehicle, in route to the dealership, that fit the bill. Vanessa is extremely conscientious and worked diligently with me to get the car I wanted with all the features I requested. I felt extremely comfortable throughout the entire process from sitting to tell her what I wanted, features I needed, payment I couldn't go over, to the test drive, to negotiating the deal with her equally dedicated Sales Manager, John Delgenio. Enter Carlo Passione, Finance, who jumped through hoops to make my deal happen with the credit union. They all feel like family and I will definitely continue to give them my business! More

So pleased with their approach went back to the same salesman, Tom Portuallo, and asked him to find me a new Grand Cherokee Limited within my price range. He got as many discounts and rebates as possible and found a car very close to what I wanted in the regional inventory. Add to that they got a very low rate on the Grand Cherokee loan. Very pleased! Certification Program is a Joke So I purchased a 2013 Ram this summer (summer of 2015). It was certified. So I get it home, notice sight damage to the front bumper. So I run a carfax and discover it was in an accident. I immediately call the dealership, talk to my salesman, tell him i am not happy that i would never have bought the truck knowing it had an accident. It took 5 visits to the dealer to get them to fix the bumper. They even lied to me telling me that they would get me a new one, only they ended up swapping it for one from the lot. To date, I have discovered other issues stemming from this: the hood and fender don't line up right, brakes had to be re-done again on that side, found evidence or a repaint on the rear doorjam, headlight slightly ajar, it doesnt have the billet grill as specified on the window sticker. I only wonder what else I will find. I found the dealership to be non-receptive. They did not care that this was a shady deal by not giving me the carfax as specified in the certification program. When I last called them (after their routing 6 month follow up) I received no call back. As far as I am concerned, they are as shady a dealership as they come. More
