The reason is simple, the service and quality of people at the dealership. I purchased my Porsche from a local gentleman in Ocala back in April of 2012. The car needed new tires and I wanted to have the oil changed and he recommended Porsche of Ocala. I went there and, well I have been driving down from SC for service on my Porsche, five times so far, and I would not consider taking it any where else. People who own Porsches are a particular breed, we love and respect our cars and want someone who shares that same passion to work on them. I found this at this dealership. If you own a Porsche do yourself a favor and see John Norton the service manager for your next Service Maintenance, I promise, you will be glad you did. If you are in the market for a porsche, go by and see Gerry or Michael in the sales department, I have gotten to know them both personally and you want find more knowledgable people when it comes to Porsches. Am I going overboard about this dealership, well I drive 8hrs. down and 8hrs. back home to have my Porsche serviced here, you be the judge. We bought our Boxster there and have had all service there. After a year the top would not close into the drip edge as it would when new. We took it to them and they adjusted the top so it worked. Af there. After a year the top would not close into the drip edge as it would when new. We took it to them and they adjusted the top so it worked. After some time elapsed, it began not to align again and they adjusted it again so it closed properly. After a few days it began to close improperly again. We called them and the service manager, Raymon Sampat, oferred to replace the entire top. We took the car in and he loaned us his personal Porsche. They replaced the top and now it has been working so far, but the top material has a few wrinkles in it and one bulge. We are only a week or so away from the end of our warranty, so we wrote Porsche in keeping with the warranty requirements. We are waiting to see what happens. More
