About a year ago I was getting my BMW serviced when I wandered over to the Porsche Southpoint lot to dream. I had always wanted a Porsche, so anytime I was near a dealer I always swung by to check out th wandered over to the Porsche Southpoint lot to dream. I had always wanted a Porsche, so anytime I was near a dealer I always swung by to check out the inventory. That’s when Gary walked out and introduced himself. I told him I was just dreaming at the moment but definitely had my eyes on eventually ordering a 718 Cayman 4 liter at some point in the future. Gary proceeded to talk to me for 45 minutes about Porsches and just cars in general. He even took time to show me the inventory they had on the ground. He knew I wasn’t buying anything yet he still took the time to talk to me. I was blown away. I was just a normal dude looking at Porsches. I never expected to be treated like a paying customer. I promised him that in the event I bought one, it would be from him. He gave me his card and told me to stop back whenever I was in the area to say hello. And that’s how it went for about six months or so. Then finally, I decided that it was time to order a car. I was fully expecting to be told it was an impossibility due to the car I wanted (A 4.0 GTS) wasn’t exactly easy to come by, especially with the ever dwindling supply of cars. So I reached out to Gary just to see…and he totally went to bat for me and got me an allocation. It was literally a matter of days before I was able to place an order for the car. That’s unheard of right now! Also there was no ADM! Gary and team moved mountains to make a dream come true! And that’s not where it ended either. Gary sat and talked to me for great periods of time about my build, with nothing but extreme patience and kindness. He answered every single question I had openly and honestly. If he didn’t know the answer (which was rare) he went and found out and got right back to me. Then when my car came in he really helped make it feel like an event. He knew this car was a lifelong dream of mine and made sure the whole experience matched up to my expectations. All in all I really can’t say enough good things about my experience working with Gary and the whole Porsche Southpoint team. I’ll tell anyone looking for a Porsche anywhere in the country to give them a call. You won’t regret it. More

Went to Porsche Southpoint in search of a vehicle and the Kratzat brothers Manny and Edwin helped me and my family into a beautiful Acura MDX. Vicki was great in helping us settle in while we completed the paperwork and the entire process was the best we have experienced. I ordered and purchased a new Porsche from Porsche Southpoint in May and wanted to document my experience as it far exceeded my expectations in every way. Porsche Southpoint is over 200 miles away from me and I will certainly be doing business with them again despite having over 10 dealers closer to me. I worked with Edwin Kratzat and from the time I contacted him, to the time I picked up my car 7 months later he, as well as the entire staff, took car of any questions and concerns I had during the whole process of such a big purchase. Edwin was transparent from the beginning about the process, and went above and beyond to ensure I got the allocation I was searching for. I cannot say that about the multiple other dealers, closer to me, that I tried working with prior to contacting Edwin. He got an allocation for me in less than a week what other dealers couldn’t do in over 3 months. All why being infinitely more transparent about what I could expect and honoring the verbal agreements that inevitably have to be made on price prior to getting the car built. I’ve never had car purchase go so easy. A week after my delivery I flew to Raleigh to pick up my other car that I left with them. But I flew in on a day the dealership was closed (stupid mistake on my part) and my truck was behind the security gates that are locked after hours and on Sunday. I thought I was stuck! No problem though. I texted Edwin (who was out of town on vacation) and he made a few calls and one of the technicians came out on his day off and unlocked the gate for me. Like I said, the staff went above and beyond in every way. In my experience with the other dealers and sales associates near me, Honesty, Competency, and the possession of passion in a brand that compels that same passion from its customers are three traits that are hard to find together in one place. Edwin and the Porsche Southpoint staff displayed all three of those traits, which is what made them different and the main reason why I’ll be coming back. I’ve had my dream car for about 5 months now, and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks again Edwin and all the staff at Southpoint for making it happen. Dustin More
