Very personable, almost entirely done over email, not your typical sales guy, genuinely wanted to help me get in the car I wanted. Hope they take care of my trade in :). I have a feeling I'll turn into a Porschefile at some point, and I'm sure I'll be returning here! More
Tried to sell me a demo/used car with 142 miles as a new car I wanted a Porsche Macan S immediately and I contacted a few dealers. Joe Bianco responded to me with a price even though he had no inventory available and we struck a deal through email for a $58,000 MSRP car. The idea was to swap a car from another dealership and have it delivered in a week which sounded fine to me at that time. Little did I know that I was going to get what I paid for even though I was saving peanuts in this "bargain" in the greater scheme of things. I visited him from Connecticut on 08/14/14 and paid the deposit. As the car was not at the location, I specifically asked him about the mileage on the car, the answer was " It probably has 6 or 7 miles on it, dealers don't do anything with the new cars as they cannot sell a car that was used as a demo car as new". The answer was satisfactory to me and the purchase order had 15 miles written on it, the proposed date of delivery was 08/21/14. In the meanwhile, I arranged for the finance and was ready to take delivery. Joe kept updating me everyday that the car will be picked up soon blah blah. To my horror, I received an email from him on 08/21/14 that the car has arrived but it has 142 miles on it. He claimed that he did not know anything about that and it was a swap between Ohio and Delaware. How would you expect a customer to believe that? This is what followed- I told him that I am not buying a car with 142 miles on it and the response was "and I the dealer , Your call". No apology, no explanation, just a threat that I will lose him as the dealer. I thought losing him as the dealer can't be a bad thing! I asked for an immediate refund of the deposit on my credit card and his response was that "I went to great lengths to get this Macan, 142 miles is on Car so you will have no issues in adjustments , Car is perfect no blemishes, when you get done next week the Car will have more miles and this will be a mut item, I will extend Warranty to 50142 miles"- A generous offer to increase the warranty by 142 miles and glorifying the 142 miles as a good thing because the car is already broken in! Oh boy, how idiotic did he think I was? According to me, this is a perfect example of bait and switch tactics. The dealer took me off the market by accepting the deposit from me and promising delivery in the next 10 days. After 10 days, boom! He hits me with this car that is not new. Another buyer might have still taken the car for an extended warranty/maintenance plan and the dealership would have saved a lot of money by getting rid of a demo car, win-win for them, not so much for me. I spoke to the manager Alex and he kept saying that "Nobody is forcing you to buy the car or trying to cheat you". You are right, nobody is going to force me into anything that I don't want to do. They promptly refunded the deposit as I wasn't interested in anything else, the transaction has not been posted yet while I write this review. I lost two weeks of my time because of this dealership and I have to wait for a Nov/Dec build instead of a Sep/Oct build if I had to order a Macan. I decided against it as I have lost faith in the brand and I have never felt this cheated in such a competitive space. I am posting this review because I want this to be a lesson to other people like me, who try to save as little as in this case and fall into such traps. After all, peace of mind is also worth something, correct? It may be true that it was not this dealership's fault and I am just unlucky that the swapped car was not new but they have to at least verify these things in the future if they want to stay in this business. I am ready to forward the Purchase order or emails that I have quoted above if anyone doubts the genuineness of this review. More

They were easy to deal with and went out of their way to earn my trust and satisfaction. Living South Florida and buying a car sight unseen in New York can be a little awkward, but they exceeded my expectations in service and professionalism. Ask for Sales Expert Richard Mac and salute Manager Alex Bocchi for running such an outstanding sales department. Thanks for the extra touches guys! More

excellent service experience I had a mild emergency when my 2011 Cayenne started to leak water into the passenger compartment. When I called Norman, the service manager and explained the issue, he did everything he could to get my car in the same day to have it looked at as soon as possible. When all was said and done, I had my car back the next day good as new. The best part, however, was that did not charge me for the repair, despite my car being off warranty ! I have to say, every experience I have had with the South Shore Porsche service department has be great. More

I had gone through multiple terrible experiences in the way dealerships approached me, with unrealistic promises and even lies regarding their products. But coming to this dealership became a totally different experience. We were attended by Rich, A young seller with high concept of respect,courtesy, and honesty. Basically, the person you want to deal with. No pushes , no rush, no lies regarding the deals, and the same treat was received by every single member of this dealership. As a plus my Porsche is a Jewel. I was almost decided to buy a Mercedes or Lexus, but this experience, totally changed my mind. More

I told him exactly what I wanted and he was more knowledgeable than any other car salesman I had spoken to. I am now sold! This is Not some "Sell you a car" kind of place. These are professional and dedicated representatives helping clients get what they need in a vehicle, while making it the best car buying experience there is. There is no sales pitch and no strong arming you into adding features you will not need in your vehicle. Jermaine took time out to listen and followed through the entire sales process.
