A very pleasent experience buying a car with the help of Gary and Jason. Gary found us a decent car which satisifies almost all the expectations we have within our budget. Since this is my first time buying Gary and Jason. Gary found us a decent car which satisifies almost all the expectations we have within our budget. Since this is my first time buying a new car in the US, I have a bunch of "stupid" problems regarding buying a car. Gary and Jason were super patient and responsive when I have questions. Will definitely recommend this place to our friends! More

They claim to be award winning service repair, but couldn't diagnose the problem that they created. Tech did not tighten cross members correctly and the bolts came loose causing a chirping sound. Had couldn't diagnose the problem that they created. Tech did not tighten cross members correctly and the bolts came loose causing a chirping sound. Had to find another shop to diagnose and fix their mistake. Also, while car was in their shop, the service adviser tried to up sell new tires to me over the phone. Yet, their tech's inspection check list showed that they were still in the green (good condition) when I picked up car and the repair documents. I hope the other bolts were tightened down properly. All of my problems with my 911 started after they last worked on the car for "check engine light". Beware!! I am advising anyone to look elsewhere for sales and service. More
I chose Porsche Redwood City as they stock more large-size Porsches I preferred than any other dealers in the Bay area. To meet my preference more precisely, I decided to custom-order my Panamera 4 large-size Porsches I preferred than any other dealers in the Bay area. To meet my preference more precisely, I decided to custom-order my Panamera 4S as soon as the 2021 models were released. Suggestions and advices of Gary were essential to complete my configuration at an optimum time, and even in these days of global chip shortages and delayed production, Gary managed to deliver my Panamera on time, in a perfect shape and condition. I am excited to commute again, with my new Panamera. Their exhibition of classic and exotic Porsches like 918 show Porsche Redwood City has experience and expertise you cannot easily find in typical Porsche dealers around. With the wide array of options Porsche offers, it is also important to consult experts like Gary to choose or configure a car with essential features. More
Incompetent service staff I have taken my 2019 Porsche Cayenne to the service twice so far and found the staff does not know how to fix problems or properly work with insurance I have taken my 2019 Porsche Cayenne to the service twice so far and found the staff does not know how to fix problems or properly work with insurance. The first encounter was to have my new car only a week old connected to the iPhone. The service person (Doug Nike) took the car and spent about an hour trying to make the connection work without success. Doug brought out my car and showed how he could not get the code to work and had no further suggestions. I give Doug some credit for being open and honest about his attempts. I took the car home, contacted the online service for the connection and they walked me through a successful connection. What had happened is the process for making the connection had changed and the service department did not know the new process for the 2019 models. At that same time, I had also requested Doug to check on an upgrade that I would like to have made to my car, he took my VIN and contact information, he even used his cell for to photograph the VIN and my contact info. After three months no response! My second trip to service Cayenne is for a windshield replacement. After trying to contacting the service department the previous day no one was available to take my call so I tried the chat button on the website. The person on the other end text to bring in the car the next day. Upon arrival the following day, the staff was confused and did not have any record of my chat and unfortunately, I could not locate the chat on my phone to show them. But why would I even have to prove I chatted with them! So after going over my service request, the staff person calculated a charge. I kind of knew that I would need to work with insurance but part of me was hoping to have the part under warranty. Now I know this would take working with my insurance to complete, but it what was most bothersome was the attitude of the service people. They seemed more intent on charging money then they were getting a new car that I purchased from them fixed. I am very glad there are many Porsche Dealerships in the area and all I can say, for now, is that Carlsen Porsche will be the last dealership on my list to use. More
