Great service technician, but lacking in the front end of service. Fixed my issues the first time without a comeback. My advisor misunderstood a repair I didn't want and I paid for it. Said they would comp m service. Fixed my issues the first time without a comeback. My advisor misunderstood a repair I didn't want and I paid for it. Said they would comp me next repair. Came back next time and repair technician was awesome. Gave me options and let me decide my repair. The take away was, I only got partial discount and didn't get my old refund discount as well. My favorite part was them telling, my tires were 5 years old and recommended replacing them. Just to get sold 2-3 year old new tires. C'est la vie'. The other drawback is both times it took a week to fix. You would probably get a loaner car if you bought from the dealership or under warranty. They did fill up my fuel tank which was a plus. Summarize, if you want your vehicle fixed without carrying about the details, this is the perfect place. More

OK I have read this while calmly screaming inside my head – No, you do not want my feedback! Well I read the last one and it said last chance so I thought maybe this will help. First let me just state some facts, I currently own 8 Porsches, 3 914’s, 3 718’s (one is the Boxster S I had you look at, and 2 Cayman’s) And two other Boxter’s a 986 and a 987.2, almost all of them are projects or parts for other projects. The 987.2 and a 914-6 are Daily drivers. The Porsche 718 Boxster S that I had you look at was in a flood and purchased that auction, it was a pure sale, but listed as engine running. The water line on the flood marker was at the bottom of the door so I figured it was not too much of A risk, if it ran and it was low markings on the door chances were it would be fixable. I can usually do the work myself unless of course it had to do with electronics. When I got the car, The roof would not open, and the rear trunk would not open. And it did run, but the first wise move for anyone who cared about the well-being of this car would be to change all the fluids and check the condition of the engine which I can't do because the roof will not open. Knowing that any Porsche mechanic will be a high cost per hour, I was indeed hesitant to have a Porsche mechanic work on it. I figured and was ready to most likely pay about $10,000 to get this back into good working order. So I put it on a trailer and I towed it down to you. When I got there at the time of my appointment, I spoke to someone and gave them the details of what I want fixed 1) the roof won't open, 2) the rear trunk won't open, 3) and the engine will not run, it starts but does not continue to run. And I was informed that the gentleman that will be handling my appointment was not there at that time but would call me as soon as he got back. I got a call from Manuel and he stated that he had seen the car and the roof would not open and the rear trunk would not open, and that the engine would not run, all exactly as I had stated. He then said he wanted to get a little bit of history on how it got to this condition, when I stated that I got the car from auction as it was his tone changed a little and he said “Oh yeah, it looks as if there's some water damage, and we really don't like to deal with that, it's just too time consuming” to which I replied, “well you guys are Porsche if anyone can fix it, it certainly is you” the car stayed there for at least three business days. I finally get a call from Manuel stating that you could not fix it, Which I think he meant to say you would not fix it. When I went to go pick up my Porsche, there was a bill for about $250. I kind of scratched my head? Thinking wait a minute the first hour is free, you told me on the phone you didn't like dealing with water problems, but I get a bill for $250 for you doing absolutely nothing. So let me see if I have this correct you build your cars so technologically advanced that only licensed Porsche mechanics can work on them, yet you can't fix them? Or is it really that you don't wanna work on a Porsche that has been obtained through other channels then by you? Like because I got it through auction I didn't pay the full admission fee to being in the Porsche club? I'm not sure who deserves the bad marks that visit has left on me, I still hold Porsche in high regard to building a beautiful car, not so much for Manual, or the Porsche repair network, Especially the Plano Porsche dealership. I will get it fixed one way or another only because I don't utilize the word can't or won't in regards to something I hold passionate. More
The service department repaired my non-running Carrera when others said there was no hope. The technician and Jeff, my service advisor, made the entire process as painless as possible.
