I was notified by Porsche North America and my dealership via email, phone call and a postal letter about the center lock wheel safety issue. I was in contact with Kevin Anderson about the situation and via email, phone call and a postal letter about the center lock wheel safety issue. I was in contact with Kevin Anderson about the situation and we obtained the center lock build date / work weeks data. Kevin then ordered the new parts and provided several status updates on when the new parts would be at the dealership. Kevin made the appointment for me when the parts came in and we made arrangements for the center locks to be changed out. After receiving the car back, I drove the car for a little while and came back for a center lock torque re-check recently. Since the re-check, I then went for a spirited drive in an organized enclosed area and the car performed magnificently... We purchased our 911 from this dealership and have been loyal about maintaining it there, despite a pattern of being hassled for extra "repairs" every time. $900 for a new cup holder? No thank you. The last straw was waiting 2 1/2 weeks for a quoted $2,000 repair, which they then said was going to cost $11,000. Fortunately we found Auto Europe for better service, better value, less hassle. The staff is nice and helpful my only complain is that I spent over $4,000 for my brakes and my car still squeels pretty bad when I brake.
