That all said the vehicle still has 4 months on the original warranty. Two weeks after acquiring the car, one of the running lights went out and the plastic cover departed the vehicle. I called the service manager, left a message and he called me back- so far, no worries. Subsequently, I received and email and I replied with pictures and description of the issue. It’s been a week and not any communication from the dealership. I’m just one customer but the interaction was not very impressive . More

Another great service experience at McCrary Porsche I have had two wonderful service experiences at Dean McCrary Porsche. I bought a used 2014 Cayman S there with 8500 on the clock. There are 20k miles I have had two wonderful service experiences at Dean McCrary Porsche. I bought a used 2014 Cayman S there with 8500 on the clock. There are 20k miles now and every one of the has been a great driving experience. It is especially nice to have the service department at my back. Today, I took the car in unannounced with a missing screw problem with the air dam. I spoke to the service manager, Dennis, and he spoke to one the the attendants, who spoke the Porsche mechanic who was on break. He fixed the car on the spot, no hassle, no worries. This is the second time I have been served graciously at this dealership -- this besides my first and second year servicing as well as a set of high performance tires and an alignment. I highly recommend these folks. They care about commitment to their customers in a way not often seen nowadays. More
Porsche Service Department I have dealt with this dealerships service department for a number of years while maintaining a 2004 Cayenne purchased new at a Jackson, MS dealership I have dealt with this dealerships service department for a number of years while maintaining a 2004 Cayenne purchased new at a Jackson, MS dealership. When my wife took the vehicle in for the first service at this Mobile. Al dealership she let me know it would be the last visit she made. The service manager was very arrogant and she found it hard to discuss the issues with him. Unbelievable expensive. I then took it in the next service and found the attitude to be very uncomfortable and the pricing outrageous.....when I made mention the response was you drive a Porsche, maybe I now wish I did not. 7 months ago we had a severe braking issue which called for the car to be towed to the dealership and with dread I met with the service manager. After the Porsche tech (which I believe to be excellent) reviewed the situation an estimate of $3800 was given...well I said really, is this seriously the cost, is any car worth a repair of this amount? He stated it was a Porsche and yes. He was very arrogant and I found it hard to discuss this matter with him. Maybe I would have liked a little sympathy.....maybe suggestions on how we could work on this together....not just here it is and you have NO choice but to do this ...the car will not run! I just hate arrogance from anyone .... it flatters no one. When I picked up the vehicle and asked if the car was leaving in perfect condition, the reply was; perfect is not promised, it is an older model vehicle> I asked if they did a courtesy check and he said no, for $3,800 you could not make certain the car was running properly while you had it? Maybe noted you did such and such out of courtesy. Well 7 months later I stop by dealership and discuss with the same service manger that my brake lights are on again and I am frightened to drive. I asked if I could send him a picture of the lighted dash and get his opinion if I should have it towed again...I can not cover another $3,800 bill. He stated to send picture and he would get back with me, I have sent 2 times in the last 3 weeks and have had no response. He did state he was sure it had nothing to do with my previous service. Arrogance again and I have yet to hear a reply. I am just sick of dealing with Dean McCrary Porsche service and want the world to know it! There just has to be a better option out there. I will say the Jackson, MS dealership service did not come with the attitude, think before dealing with Dean McCrary...maybe there is a difference if you buy from them ... I look forward to the day I do not have to come back. Thank you! More
