Lou and Ethan Greeted me warmly as soon as I walked in, I discussed the issues my Porsche Panamera Turbo was having, as soon as a I mentioned the issues they explained a few possibilities and were very knowledgeable, they then had me go out for a Ride with there best technician. In The meantime I had a good Chat with Edward one of the Salesmen there, who was also very knowledgeable on his cars.1 Hour Later, Lou brought me down to the shop and explained to me exactly what was wrong and my mind was finally at ease. RT Comments I bought a used C4S 997.2. I found the car via an internet search. It was in mint condition with low miles. My purchase, registration, insuring, pi I bought a used C4S 997.2. I found the car via an internet search. It was in mint condition with low miles. My purchase, registration, insuring, pickup, etc. was very complicated because I live in the Midwest and own homes in different states. I know that I added some difficulty to the process. I bought the C4S sight unseen, but did have a local friend review the vehicle. It took a while to sort thru these matters and, for the most part Hoffman was very helpful. At times though, I felt I was pushing their patience. Regarding price, the car was in the upper range of other similar cars for sale. But it had only 5,100 miles, was in unblemished condition, and still had 26 months remaining on the Porsche warranty. So, it seemed like a fair price. Personally, I feel that the 997.2's are next 993's in appreciation potential because the second gens do not have engine issues of the previous models, and because of the changes to the 991s. Ethan in service is very knowledgeable and helpful. He deserves a call-out here. He helped me with some wheel and exhaust matters, plus other matters regarding the car. I had a different exhaust system installed. I did not know the car as listed had an aftermarket exhaust, so that was a small mistake in the listing. I learned this in the 11th hour of the process. In the end, (exhaust aside) the car was as advertised, the parts/service matters will handled well, and my delivery experience was first class. I hope to purchase a Cayenne in a year or two. I will consider Hoffman for this pending purchase even though they are nearly 1,000 miles away. More
