My wife and I had one of our best car buying experiences here at Porsche Chantilly and are now the proud and happy owners of a Porsche Panamera E Hybrid. We went in to the dealership with an appointment and only with the intention of doing a test drive of the Panamera and ended up buying one. ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE to buy. In fact our salesperson, Christian was a perfect gentleman who insisted on us test driving both models and any other car we wanted to before making a decision. He gave us a great deal on a brand new car with the color and specs that we were looking for and then we thought that as in other dealerships tell us that this is valid only if we buy the same day. We were surprised when he said that we can come back for the same price whenever we were ready (never the case with others). Needless to say we bought our dream car. We also had a great experience with Diana from the finance department. I had numerous questions and emails on warranty, interest rates, refinancing etc and she willingly replied to each one of them with a lot of patience and much needed information. Porsche is a beyond exceptional car and here at Porsche Chantilly we received the same.... beyond exceptional service. BTW I do not take the time such a long review unless I really thought so. More
The parts department prices are absolutely ridiculous compared to every other Porsche dealership I've been to even after my PCA discount. The "manager" seemed unwilling and unmotivated to put in any sort compared to every other Porsche dealership I've been to even after my PCA discount. Eric was the best, i have never had such a positive experience in a car dealership ! But the Range rover I've chosen had something going on with the heat so i was insured that if i made the purchase th experience in a car dealership ! I purchased three (3) cars from Porsche Chantilly with two of them back to back in 2023! First a Leased Cayenne circa 2021 then a Macan in April 2023 followed by a 718 Boxter (before the first payment was two of them back to back in 2023! First a Leased Cayenne circa 2021 then a Macan in April 2023 followed by a 718 Boxter (before the first payment was due on the Macan). Austin was my salesman who knew everything about these cars and was amazing (He no longer works there). Austin called after the Macan purchase and told me the dealership received an immediate allocation for a 718 Boxter and I could have it delivered in 4 Months which everyone else was waiting over a year for a new anything! I could not say no, so with his help, we built this car on line and true to his word, I received my new shiny 718 Boxter only 4 months later in July 2023. He produced two “We Owe You” documents totaling $600 worth of Porsche SWAG ($300 per car) which we both signed. I didn’t want to receive $600 worth of coffee mugs and hats so he instructed me to choose items from the Official Porsche Online Shop which I did. After more prodding, I did finally receive some items in the mail a few months later which totaled $385 based on Porsche Online Shop pricing…which is just short of the $600 promised. Now we are approaching the ONE YEAR point and I reached out again asking if I could receive the balance of my SWAG and requested a Soft Shell Jacket from the site which cost $185 and I would be a happy camper. Let me just state that when it comes to a high end Porsche dealership, I expect nothing short of excellence, trust and customer service! The fact I have purchased THREE cars from them, I don’t think $600 worth of SWAG or as I like to call it; “Free Advertisement” is too much to ask when it’s promised! Now with Austin no longer employed there (which I think is a terrible loss to Porsche and Penske) one of their Sales Mangers responded to me in an e-mail that I have been sent $492 worth from the two cars and the “Owes” are only good for 30Days! WTH…now there is a convenient 30Day grace period to grab what they have on hand (which is not much) and if they order you anything it will exceed the 30days as in my case. I am NOT a petty person and have never asked for anything free. Moreover, I am a 100% Disabled Veteran of 26 Years so I am used to paying my way through ALL aspects of my life. Let’s just say, I am disappointed with the response I received from the Sales Manager whose name I will not mention because evidently I have more respect for him than he has for me. I hope and expect Porsche Chantilly to come through and make this right because a Promise is a Promise, we are only talking about $185 and the delays this has taken has been completely out of my control. Lastly, I want to share that I love everything else about his dealership and how my Wife and I have been treated and this is the ONLY reason I did not give it 5-Stars. More
