This review is concerning Porsche Burlingame, but more specifically, the salesman Cesar Caceres. Cesar was one of the most unprofessional salesman I've ever had to deal with. I made an appointment to come specifically, the salesman Cesar Caceres. Cesar was one of the most unprofessional salesman I've ever had to deal with. I made an appointment to come up from San Jose to test one of the vehicles, which Cesar was well aware of, only to be told after driving an hour that there are no test drives without agreeing to a sale before hand. At no time was this mentioned before I drove all the way up there and wasted 2 hours of my time. Cesar could have mentioned this in one of the many emails exchanged, but he decided his time was more valuable than mine, and didn't even bother. If I am going to spend $100k+, you better believe I want to try the vehicle out before signing anything. If management reads this, you would do well to find a more respectful employee that understands the value of people's time. More
Staff here is rude. They also don't have loaners. I rescheduled the appointment, but not one apologized for wasting my time. After this I had to wait to get out from the service and when there was one remaining car in front of me no one would come up to them. When finally someone showed up (I think it was Hector Contreras), I asked him to move the car so I can get out. He gave me the attitude and told me it is not his problem. More

After calling another bay area dealer twice to speak with a service advisor and schedule an appointment, then having to leave a message that was never returned, I called Rector. I was immediately connected w a service advisor and schedule an appointment, then having to leave a message that was never returned, I called Rector. I was immediately connected with Scott, who was super helpful and I made an appointment for the next day. When I arrived Gary the service manager wrote me up and though I was previously told it would likely be two hours diagnostic time to attempt to resolve the issue with my Cayman Gary thought one hour was likely to be enough. An hour later my car was finished, the problem was resolved and received a complimentary wash as well. The cashier that rang me up was super pleasant as well. I should mention that this all happened after my car was at a respected independent Porsche repair shop for three weeks and they finally gave up. So to say I'm happy is an understatement. More

Incompetent, rude and thieves. I made the unfortunate mistake of ordering parts online from Porsche Burlingame / Rector Motors. They shipped incorrect parts which were defective, and they were in the incorrect boxes. Lawrence Alexander in the parts department, rudely responded that it was because I did not enter my VIN....It's a standard part for a Macan so wasn't necessary. After researching and sending him documented and photographic proof that it was THEIR error, or HIS error, he responded that he would send me a return label... Which he never did. He's stopped responding to my email. It's just a horrible business with a terrible employee. You would think being a Porsche dealer, they would not treat customers so poorly. Think twice before you do business with Rector Motors and their affiliates. More
Worst Customer Service ever, bad communication Took my SUV for the second annual this last September, after a week I went to pick up the car and one of the problems came back as soon as I got back Took my SUV for the second annual this last September, after a week I went to pick up the car and one of the problems came back as soon as I got back home, took it back the following morning and told my former Service Advisor that I was going out of the country until October 10th and to communicate with me through emails but he never did until I replied to a follow up email for the first visit, yesterday I texted him to let him know I was coming to get my SUV and he confirmed that they were open until 6:00 PM, let him know that I was coming in the afternoon that same day, no response, sent another text at 4:10 PM and asked him if someone was going to be able to pick me up at the Millbrae Bart Station, no response, texted him back at 5:14 PM and nothing, tried to get a taxi no taxis in the area, took CalTrain for the first time and ended up even further from the dealership because of the trains schedules/stops, I called the dealership and the Service Manager sent somebody to pick me up, finally got my car back but switching over to a different dealer in Marin. Hopefully I'll have better luck there. More
