I was told by their salesperson I'd be first in line once the dealership got a 2025 911 GTS cab allocation. The next thing I know the salesperson is no longer there ("for good reason," the manager tells me), and no one bothered to tell me—for weeks. I just happened to find out when I called for the salesperson and the receptionist told me he no longer works there. The manager then says they won't put me on a numbered waiting list (contrary to the salesperson's assurance) and offers no apology for changing the dealership's story. I reported my experience to the general manager and got no response from him. In short, I don't think they care. They run their dealership like a bunch of amateurs in my personal opinion. They certainly don't inspire confidence to buy a $200,000 vehicle from them. I'd suggest people find another dealership. More
WE BOUGHT A USED PORSCHE MACAN AT THIS DEALERSHIP AND WAS SOLD A WARRANTY FOR $3500 THAT WOULD COVER THE CAR AFTER THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY EXPIRED. WHEN WE SOLD THE CAR WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A REFUND FOR A PAR SOLD A WARRANTY FOR $3500 THAT WOULD COVER THE CAR AFTER THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY EXPIRED. WHEN WE SOLD THE CAR WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A REFUND FOR A PARTIAL AMOUNT OF THE WARRANTY LEFT ON THE CAR AND WAS TOLD THAT THE WARRANTY WASNT ANY GOOD BECAUSE IT HAD EXPIRED A FEW MONTHS PRIOR. WE KNEW THAT COULDNT BE RIGHT BECAUSE WE HAD 1.5 YRS OF THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY AND 5 YRS ON THE ONE WE BOUGHT AND HAD ONLY HAD THE CAR 4 YRS. THEY REFUSED TO HONOR THE WARRANTY REFUND AND TOTALLY RIPPED UP OFF!! ******DO NOT EVER PURCHASE A WARRANTY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP***** More
I had a coolant leak and had my Boxster towed into this dealership from 60 miles away. My vacation road trip, planned for a long time, was basically cancelled and I was at the mercy of the service department. Despite the unavailability of any appointments, their techs stayed late and resolved my issue and I was back on the road in less than 24 hrs. Everyone I encountered from the front desk to Zac and John in the service department, to the tech who took time to talk with me about the repair, was courteous and understanding. Through the years I have had lots of less than optimal experiences at car dealerships but this was a pleasant surprise. Courtesy and kindness at a car dealership - hmm - a strange concept but this just might catch on. Thank You Porsche Asheville! More
2 weeks for tire and oil change. Expected same day return. 2 weeks later after much chasing on my part…I get the car no tire change, windows left down so car flooded, dirty oil rag i Expected same day return. 2 weeks later after much chasing on my part…I get the car no tire change, windows left down so car flooded, dirty oil rag in passenger seat and they had the guts to recommend 3 completely unneeded and I debunked they were true right in front of them. Unethical, dangerously incompetent and possibly criminal. Every nightmare in a dealership you can imagine. More
This used to be a decent dealership when they were privately owned , when Charlie was the sales manager and Brett was a salesman. In fact, I purchased 3 Porsches, 2 Audis and 2 Volkswagens from them privately owned , when Charlie was the sales manager and Brett was a salesman. In fact, I purchased 3 Porsches, 2 Audis and 2 Volkswagens from them since moving to Asheville 8 years ago and was always treated fairly. That doesn't matter to the new corporate ownership. The salesmen (haven't seen a woman) are rude and condescending and truly act that they do not wish to sell you a car. I tried trading my 2017 A4, low miles for a new one and the salesperson become visibly agitated when I ASKED to drive the car (a $60K car? Really?). I bought a BMW 330ix instead. Inquired about getting on a wait list for a new $100K Cayman, and you would have thought I'd asked for the salesman's first born. So sorry to bother you buddy. I guess if you don't have New York, or Florida or California money, they could care less about "earning" your business. Do yourself a favor and avoid the pretentious excuse of a dealership. like the metaphorical plague. Doesn't matter as much these days where you buy the car as most dealerships will deliver within a reasonable distance. Guess I'll be taking my hard-earned money out of state to Greenville where the folks don't treat they are God's gift to car buyers. More
Seriously, if you thought it couldn't get worse under new ownership, you didn't give them enough credit. Your experience might be different than mine, but I can't imagine why you expect otherwise. They rea ownership, you didn't give them enough credit. Your experience might be different than mine, but I can't imagine why you expect otherwise. They really don't want your business... With enough time they'll prove it to you. Stay away. Far, far away. Dealers in Knoxville and Raleigh are excellent. If you need warranty work, or just like/need dealer service, and have a chance to drive through either of those locales, get your work done there. In Asheville, you're much better off taking it to somebody like AGP for service. Sales? Why buy a new car from somebody you can't trust to service it? Again, drive to Knoxville or Raleigh. Swindled Do not, under any circumstances, purchase any used vehicles from Harmony Motors of North Carolina. They clearly do not properly inspect the cars they Do not, under any circumstances, purchase any used vehicles from Harmony Motors of North Carolina. They clearly do not properly inspect the cars they are representing, not even from the brands they specialize in. My name is Jeremy, and these are the facts. This was my first time buying a car, and I was looking for an early Porsche Cayman S. I had been researching for almost two months and legitimately shopping for two weeks. The market at the time was holding really nice examples around 31K; and ones a bit rougher, or with high miles at 18K. Harmony Motors had a 2006 Porsche Cayman S listed at 25K, with 46,200 miles on the clock, a clean CARFAX, and good service history. I inquired about the car saying I was ready to make a deal because I was preapproved. I was convinced at the time that this was the best example I could buy within driving distance. In addition, it was being represented by a certified Porsche dealer. I was told that it wasn’t in perfect condition cosmetically, and I replied that I was more concerned about it being good mechanically because its purpose is to be a daily driver. I was then told that the car was on consignment and that the price was the price, and I agreed to put my money down. When I arrived at the dealership me and the salesman walked around the car and he told me that the rear tires, air filters, and front trunk struts were replaced. Before I could get behind the wheel for a test drive, a dash light came up when the salesman started the car. We drove it down to the service department to diagnose the code. He got a tech to read the code, however the tech didn’t know what it meant, and cleared it telling us to bring it back if it popped back up. The dash light didn’t come back during the test drive. The only things I noticed during my walk around and test drive was that the spoiler button wasn’t working, and the odometer was at 46,8XX miles. Once I had it for a few days, I started noticing issues. The speakers were blown and very muddy, the car doesn’t drive straight insead it veers to the right, and I filled up the windshield wiper fluid only to have it leak out from under the passenger headlight. I took it to my local repair shop to look at those issues and the spoiler button. I also asked them to do my oil and spark plugs to start fresh. They then sent me pictures of the filters in the car and told me that the battery was ten years old (42/10 is european for 4th of February 2010) and I should consider replacing it. Their first repair quote was around $3,500. I asked them to remove the battery replacement and a few other things which got the price down to $2,700. I contacted Harmony Motors explaining the situation and they did absolutely nothing. I’ve never spent 25k before nor have I ever experienced such a lack of customer service in my entire life. Since the last time I spoke to Harmony Motors my brake and engine lights have come on. The brake light indicates that the pads are low, and the engine light says it needs repair services. The number of safety concerns this vehicle has is absolutely appalling and the money it’s going to take to fix Harmony Motors negligence is disgusting. Stay the xxxx away from this dealership! More

They said it the ac unit needed to be replaced, turns out it was only a blown fuse. Also recommended replacing the clutch plates. It only has 19k miles, when questioned, I was told it was only a recommendation, and not necessary at this time. More than disappointed. More

Good dealership to deal with Camelot was out sales guy and Nate the manager. Both busted there xxx to get me to what I required to get into the car. Even Joe in finance was helpful. I have originally looked at the Jag Fpace but the Macan has better feel buttons and even the leather. Not to mention it is super FN fast. Thanks guys for your help in assisting us with our first Porsche. More
