I have repeatedly had a bad experience with Porsche Arlington - mostly mansplaining and acting as if they knew better than the silly woman with the fancy car. The dealership manager continues to get promoted up, even though he is the worst of the bunch. More

Rudy was polite, thorough and responsive. Could not have been a better experience under the circumstances. Great customer service! Could not have been a better experience under the circumstances. Great customer service! More

Nothing outlandish, just an oil change and emissions as well as price quotes on some parts. After dropping my car off on Friday morning I was told my service advisor would be in touch "soon", but that they were a little backed up. I didn't hear anything Friday or Saturday so I stopped in on Sunday for a status check. They told me a technician had been assigned but it didn't appear they'd touched my car yet. I was told my advisor would call or email me with an update on Monday. Didn't hear anything Monday so I stopped by on Tuesday and was told it didn't appear that my car had been worked on yet, but that my advisor would reach out Wednesday with an update. Hearing nothing on Wednesday I came in a third time that evening and stated that if I didn't hear anything by Thursday (today, April, 20) I would pick my car up and take it elsewhere for service. That clearly made a difference as I heard from my advisor Thursday morning. At this point I had given the dealer nearly a week to perform what should have been, at most, a few hours work and decided to only get emissions checked and pick up the car to take it elsewhere. Upon pickup they "lost" my car and spent an hour (5:50PM-6:50PM) trying to find it. It was in the lot triple parked behind two other cars. Upon pickup I find out that even though I've been charged for an emissions test, there was no certificate with results and they had managed to break my keyfob such that it now only works as a physical key, and the keyless functions are dead. While the employees I spoke to in the dealership were polite there was absolutely no follow through. Needless to say, I would not recommend Porsche of Arlington to anyone and I will not be returning in the future. More
All you have to do is read what I wrote on The Autopian about my experience with Porsche Arlington. I was assigned to Mo, who was very helpful at first but later became unreachable. The battery that was needed for my car would take 6 months to get, which is ridiculous. What is the point of having a Porsche when the dealership can't get you the parts?! I ended up taking my Cayenne to a Porsche body shop that got me the battery in 2 days. The Porsche warranty is useless when they can't get you the parts. This is the worst experience I've had with a service department. One of the reasons why I chose a Porsche over other cars was due to the level of service I assumed I was getting with Porsche. My car was also placed outdoors 6 months and when I asked if they had a car cover for paint damanges, they said no. Are you xxxxx serious?! You are gonna put my car outdoors for 6 months subject to pain damange when the car is completely open due to dead battery?! More
I have been to a number of Porsche dealers in my many years with the vehicle and this one is by far the worst. This service department is so disorganized, and so unprofessional. I wish I could give them years with the vehicle and this one is by far the worst. This service department is so disorganized, and so unprofessional. I wish I could give them zero stars. There is a certain expectation when you move into luxury and higher end cars. This place does not get it. I don't need a coffee bar or anything like that I just want the place to have its act together. Go to Tysons or better yet save your $ and go to an independent instead. More
Since I moved to the DC area in 2018, the service department has been an absolute nightmare with my 2017 Macan S. I had a catastrophic oil leak due to an unknown source at the end of January 2020. Af department has been an absolute nightmare with my 2017 Macan S. I had a catastrophic oil leak due to an unknown source at the end of January 2020. After receiving my seemingly repaired car from the service department, I had to take my vehicle to New York for an event. On my way, at the beginning of February 2020, the oil level completely tanked right after this leak was supposedly fixed at Porsche of Arlington. I called James Tingley (who had been my Service Advisor at the time) who ensured me that Service Advisor Tiffany Stewart would take care of me on the Monday I returned. Tiffany promised me a loaner on Monday morning so I would have a vehicle to take to work. Upon arrival to the dealership at opening time, I was informed that there were no loaners available. I was infuriated as this whole conundrum made me late to treat my patients that day. I was told by Tiffany, that for the inconvenience, Porsche of Arlington would replace my windshield wipers at no cost (as we had previously discussed their replacement). Upon pick up, my car had finally been repaired properly but the windshield wipers were not replaced. At this stage, multiple promises where not fulfilled. When I expressed my frustrations with Rudy Pacheco (the service manager at the time), I was not taken seriously. He assured me that my next service experience would be better and left it at that. My husband and I had decided that we would not continue to take my vehicle to this abysmal dealership. We have since taken it to other dealerships (that have excellent customer service including Porsche of Tyson’s Corner and Jack Daniels Porsche in NJ). I subsequently took my car to Porsche of Tyson’s Corner to ensure that the work done at Porsche of Arlington was done correctly as I had completely lost my trust. These vehicles are very valuable and it was extremely disappointing that both my vehicle and I were treated with total disregard. Fast forward to now (July 2022), I was seeking to update my vehicle records (since Porsche of Arlington never updated my CarFax!!!!) and tried to call them multiple times and nothing ever got sent to my email. When speaking to Tiffany Gross, I told her my email was incorrect, gave her the updated email, she ensured me that she fixed it and still, no report was sent. I called two days later and got connected to Tiffany again (after multiple calls) and to my shock, she read aloud the same incorrect email. When I finally received the email, the records were extremely unorganized and some did not have the dates or the milage at which the car received the service! This is COMPLETELY unacceptable when dealing with fine vehicles that require detailed, and meticulous service. This was my final straw. I hope I never have to deal with Porsche of Arlington again.
