Purchased a car from them at a fair price. They didn't seem to have done too much research on the car, but I knew a majority of its background and felt confident the car was solid. There were a couple of items I noticed on the car that they said they would fix (in particular Jim Johnson) but it has been nearly a month now and it has been essentially several delays and excuses. Their customer service after the fact is pretty terrible. To me customer service is everything so I cannot recommend this dealership. More

As part of the purchase we negotiated the repair of two small door dings (reflective of the constant chaos at the dealer lot- someone backed into our other car while we were inside negotiating the sale). Although we were led to believe the repair would be simple and would be provided a Porsche loaner during the deal negotiation, the repair ended up taking a week, which I spent driving a Dodge rental car. During the course of the repair I was lied to, manipulated and ignored. I dropped the car off on a Friday morning, and although I had been told the body shop was open on weekends when I scheduled the drop-off, Mark told me the car would not be ready until Monday. On Monday I received a call telling me the car would be ready Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday afternoon I received a call telling me the car would be ready Wednesday morning. On Wednesday morning I arrived at the dealership at 10:00 AM. It took until 11:00 AM for someone to determine the car was still not ready. I found my car on the lot and noticed the paint touch ups had bubbles, so I sent the car back to the body shop. I was then told the car would be ready Thursday, but when I called the dealership I couldn’t get anyone to tell me when the car would be ready. At 4:00 PM I received a call from another salesman telling me the power had just gone out in Arlington, and the detail crew could not finish the car. Bob Amin (the sales manager) called me later Thursday and promised to call me Friday morning to schedule delivery of my car to Rockville. Bob never called me on Friday and failed to answer any of my calls or reply to multiple voicemails. After reaching another salesman around noon I was able to schedule delivery for Friday afternoon. When the valet arrived late Friday he parked it on the curb of my work building, blocking the entryway. Security nearly had it towed away. After a long week I was happy to finally have my car back after so much grief with Porsche of Arlington. However, I had to take it be detailed immediately because Porsche or Arlington’s detail shop left wax on almost every surface of the exterior and didn’t do anything to the interior beyond vacuuming the rugs, despite being promised a “professional detail” as part of the sale agreement. To make things worse, once we managed to get all the wax off the car it is apparent what a horrible job Porsche of Arlington's body shop did- they managed to turn a pea sized door ding into a visible 8" x 7" bondo patch. I'm currently working with Porsche Cars NA to mediate repair of the car since Bob Amin is denying our request to repair the car and return it to us in new condition. More

Buying a Porsche has been my dream for many years. Owning one marks a milestone in one's life for his/her accomplishments. I've been to several Porsche showrooms in tri-state area to be greeted with emptines one marks a milestone in one's life for his/her accomplishments. I've been to several Porsche showrooms in tri-state area to be greeted with emptiness and intimidation. However, the experience was very different when I walked through the doors at Porsche of Arlington. Tim was the fine gentleman who greeted me and offered me assistance. I told him I was interested in a Boxster in red because it has been my dream to own a red sports car and patiently worked with me while he located one for me. His knowledge of the automobiles that he represents is impressive. This is in great contrast to the many other salesman out there who just wants to screw you, take your money, has no product knowledge about anything they sell, and straight-out lie to your face to sell you anything in-stock. After weeks of finding my red sports car, he had notified me that the one has arrived. My heart pounded fast because I was excited that the moment has finally come that I would drive a Porsche. I went in, the car was clean and spotless, and the paperwork went without drama. Thank you, BMW of arlington, for helping me acquire my 1st Porsche. I bought a new 2006 Boxster S from Porsche of Arlington. Had it 1 month and got warning lights on "Ignition" and "PSM Failure". Took it to the dealership. So far they've had it over ONE WEEK and still can't Had it 1 month and got warning lights on "Ignition" and "PSM Failure". Took it to the dealership. The fun is gone and I no longer trust Porsche. I should have bought the Lexus LC430....it may not be as much "fun" to drive, but you can't beat Lexus for quality. More
