Amir was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and did a great job explaining the various features and capabilities. Upon arriving at the dealership I was debating purchasing a Honda Pilot or the MDX. Amir pointed out all the advanced features and capabilities of the MDX and made it easy for me to make an informed decision. Amir did this without being pushy or overbearing. He seemed generally concerned that I make the right choice for me and my family. Once I made up my decision, he was extremely helpful in getting my old Sirius account transition to the new car. I was on the phone for over 50 minutes with Sirius and Amir helped me work through several of the issues. Amir was also extremely helpful in explaining the financing, carfax and warranty information. When my family arrived later that evening to help me pick up the car he even took time to explain some of features to my wife. He truly made this one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. I will be sure to recommend him and your dealership to all my friends. More
From the time I entered this Dealer I felt very welcome, all staff members were friendly , I had my little son with me who was getting restless and three different employees offered him snacks, crayon and d all staff members were friendly , I had my little son with me who was getting restless and three different employees offered him snacks, crayon and drinks, there were these two ladies in particular who I've dealed with for most part the finance manager lady called Courney she was a natural professional very knowledgeable and really really worked with me with " the numbers" so I make and drive away with the car of my dreams, Phoung was also friendly and she took her time and showed me around different models Im not an expert but actually after leaving the dealer with my MDX 2012 Acura few days ago I feel as I know more about cars haha, I will recommend to my friends and family to this dealer. Best experience ever had in buying a new SUV. From out of town and prices and quotes were exactly as stated in emails. I bought a TSX from Pohanka on April 29, 2012. It was the last Sunday of the month, and the dealership was VERY busy. My transaction was rather complicated due to the fact that I was trying to get a pri the last Sunday of the month, and the dealership was VERY busy. My transaction was rather complicated due to the fact that I was trying to get a price match on a quote I had received from another dealer, I had a tricky trade to deal with, and I wanted to get an extended warranty and some accessories added on. I also didn't know whether I wanted a manual Special Edition or an automatic with tech package. My sales advisor, Ted Townsley, was patient, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Negotiations between myself, Ted and the sales manager (Francis Mendiola) were smooth and fair. I believe I got a very good deal. And looking back now, I realize that one of the main reasons I probably ended up actually buying a car there oiver the other dozen or so dealerships I had visited over the previous month was because there was absolutely NO PRESSURE. I had to wait quite a while for finance, but that's to be expected on the last weekend day of the month! I didn't see the exact car I was actually going to buy until a few minutes before I went in to do my paperwork, and when I did, I immediately pointed out a few small scratches above the door handle. The car was whisked over to service, where the scratches were mostly buffed out. A very nice man named Happy explained to me that he couldn't buff too much at once, as the heat from the buffer would damage the paint. I appreciated him taking caution with my brand new car. Happy promised he would buff it again later in the week when I brought the car back to have the deck lid I had ordered installed. (He did so as promised, and today you can't even tell there was ever a single scratch there!) When I finally got in to Finance, Ray Morton quickly got me a good rate, answered my questions, and helped me decide what I did and did not need - again, with no pressure. Later, I noticed some issues with my paperwork and other transactional details. (I will spare the reader the details here but will only say that all were honest human-error mistakes that I SHOULD have caught if I had been paying closer attention, and none were major enough to make me feel like I wouldn't buy a car there again.) I contacted the dealership and dealt directly with Francis Mendiola, the Sales Manager. He was very helpful and to the point, and he and the General Manager made sure that my concerns were addressed satisfactorily, professionally, and in a timely manner and that I was satisfied in the end. One last note: I did decide, after some thought, to get the "sport package" body kit put on my TSX. When I returned to Service for the installation, I was assigned Josh Head as a Service Advisor. I had dealt with a BMW dealership for the last four years, and Josh was, by far, the BEST service advisor I've ever had, anywhere. He was friendly and professional and made sure that ever small detail was taken care of. Example: When I dropped the car off for service, he noticed a small paint chip in my hood and made a promise: "I'll see if I can get that little rock chip on your hood taken care of and get you some touch-up paint in case you need it later." I thought he might just be talking, but still let myself hope he would take care of it. The next day, it was discovered that the dealership had recived a defective part, which had to be reordered. At my request, to save me the trouble of making two additional two-hour round trips out to the dealership, they very kindly let me keep my loaner until the replacement part came in. So when I finally picked the car up a week later, I was sure the promise to fix the paint chip and give me some touch-up paint would have long been forgotten - after all, surely Josh had 20 other customers' cars he was charged with worrying about. But much to my surprise, both of those detail-driven promises had been kept! That may be the one thing that says the most about this experience. In the end, I concluded that Pohanka is a friendly, professional and customer service-oriented dealesrhip. They did everything in their power to make me a happy customer, and for that I would not only refer my friends there, but insist they check them out. More
