4/5 service appointments have been a disaster. I purchased a maintenance contract when I bought my Jeep in May 2019. While I love the sales staff, the service department almost ALWAYS fails to give purchased a maintenance contract when I bought my Jeep in May 2019. While I love the sales staff, the service department almost ALWAYS fails to give me credit for my service contract. The one time they did get it right, the lady who told me yesterday, Jennifer, "we don't honor that contract any longer" was the "newbie" who got it right last time. I about had a canary when I was being charged $130 for an oil change and air filter after a 2 1/2 hour wait with an appointment scheduled. I had a few choice words about how a company cannot just take away a service contract without letting customers know before they are charge insane prices for service. The manager decided to give her a lesson as to how it should have been done, like telling the customer up front how much it will cost to be done. Jennifer then claimed she was too new and made a mistake. So I guess it was a rookie mistake two and a half months ago when she did it right? I have two more oil changes left on my contract and I refuse to go back to that service department to utilize them. I'm taking my business back to Mazda and will purchase another Mazda, or go to Orlando, Daytona or Tampa for my next vehicle, with no service contract. The guys do a great job, but the people that have signed me in and checked me out are definitely clueless. The manager, David Steed, I believe, has dealt with me almost every single time (except when he was on vacation and the poor guy couldn't access my account to credit the oil change, as the manager was the only one who had access to that info, so he gave it to me for free). Pleasant staff, efficient. I’ll go back for service and for sales. Lot is small and tightly packed. Not easy to enter or exit. We have been doing business with this Jeep dealership since we moved here 7 yrs ago. First it was Crystal and then when it became Plaza. Our last couple of visits to the service area have NOT been pleasa since we moved here 7 yrs ago. First it was Crystal and then when it became Plaza. Our last couple of visits to the service area have NOT been pleasant. It seems to take longer and longer to get the simplest things done(Tire changes,oil changes or a new battery).To have a new tire put on took 4 hours,2-3 hours for an oil change and all day for a new battery.This seems to becoming the norm for you dealership. We would hope that improvements can be made to be more convenient for the customer.If it stays this way we and others will have to go elsewhere. Thank You More
They are ready to deal to sell cars and trucks. I've had offers for 4000 dollars over book on trade in and 9000 dollars off list price on a 50,000 dollar truck. Sometimes excellent service writers and work, other times the service writer was inexperienced and the work was poor. Several times I had to tighten the oil filter because it was leaking after I got home from the service. Another time I had to tighten the lug nuts on a wheel that was visibly loose. There were many times that I was totally satisfied. More
