Notwithstanding the "age" of my vehicle, Cadillac has dealt with the "defective" headlight issue for many years. It was an easy fix while in the warranty period but they chose no action. My problem with the dealership is cost to replace....$1,500+ for one and $3,000+ for both. They only have to take the front bumper off one time. No reduced cost to do both headlights at the same time. Everyone was "polite and helpful" at the dealership explaining the costs of replacing defective parts.

We understand your frustration, especially since your car has the upgraded headlights that have a higher cost to replace. I want to make sure you were told Cadillac has offered to cover a portion of the cost, which is more than many companies would do on a 14 year old vehicle.
