Dropped by Plaza tonight to look at a 2002 BMW 530 with only 47k miles. The right side of the front bumper was not attached to the car. The front tires were cupped, wearing unevenly and made obvious road noise, one head light was damaged, the front wheel wells were missing portions of the fender lining on both sides. When I detailed the issues to the sales person he said that I could not expect them to fix anything but the radio and that the bumper was only missing a bracket. I have had great experiences with their service department over the 10 years I have owned BMWs. My first experience with the sales department was very poor. More
These guys always have some of loaner for you. You don't always have to make an appointment. I like working with Linda S. and Mark Reid. They are very good customer service agents. They know what they ar always have to make an appointment. I like working with Linda S. and Mark Reid. They are very good customer service agents. They know what they are doing. Linda even tries to cut the cost down. I was going to Suntrup West County for service before and I had to go back every month because they were fixing one thing and breaking something else. When I switched over to Plaza I took my car once during Thanksgiving week and did not have to bring it back till exactly the same time this year. I will only come to them to get my car fixed. More

I had a mixed bag with Plaza, but definitely much better than the other dealer I've used multiple times - Suntrup West County. Plaza installed my i-Pod adapter, which itself is apparently a piece of junk. T than the other dealer I've used multiple times - Suntrup West County. Plaza installed my i-Pod adapter, which itself is apparently a piece of junk. Took 3 times to get the install right. The second time, Herb, the Plaza tech who works in i-Pods, destroyed my upper HVAC vents which then needed to be replaced. To make matters worse, he scratched the outside of my then brand-new i-Pod, with no explanation why. The manager agreed to buy me a new i-Pod, but in the end they only settled for $100. Plus, they rented me a Buick Century loaner because they were "out" of BMW's.

On the good side - I repeatedly asked Suntrup to fix what sounded like a blown speaker on my Harmon-Kardon setup. They kept replacing the right-front speaker (twice). Plaza immediately knew what the problem was - a TSB from BMW explained that the distortion was caused by a rattling rear parcel shelf, which Plaza promptly fixed under warranty - good job on that.

In the end - it was a mixed bag. The airbag light on my 2001 BMW kept coming on, so I took my car in for warranty work. Dropped my car off in the morning and was told it would only take a couple hours to fix the issue. Around 3pm I received my car in for warranty work. Dropped my car off in the morning and was told it would only take a couple hours to fix the issue. Around 3pm I received a call saying the airbag light was being displayed because of my Ipod connection. I told them there was no way possible for that to be the problem, but they continued to argue with me on the phone. So I immediately headed to the dealership.

Arrived at the dealership and was told the same thing I was told on the phone. Asked to see the service manager who was absolutely clueless about how the Ipod interfaced with the car. Even had the nerve to try to sell me a different adapter, which is junk. I told him I would take my car else where to a competant dealer.

Then the bill came. They charged me for a labor, and labor is over $100 an hour and they spent quite a few hours. They argued it wasn't warranty work due to the Ipod claim. I then reminded them they have to get my consent to do non warranty work, so the charges were dropped.

Finally got out to my car and it was torn apart! A wedding gift that had been in the front seat was now in the backseat. Books that were in the back were now in the front. My insurance card and other important papers that had been in my glove box were now in the front and back seat. Parts of the center console were not even put back in place.

Went back inside and complained. A tech was sent out to put the console pieces back in place. Got in my car again and my Ipod AND subwoofers were broken. Went in and got the tech again. He was clueless. He broke it and didn't know how.

So in the end, I did not get my car fixed, had it damaged and had to pay someone to reinstall my subwoofers. I fixed my car on my own by disconnecting the battery. I was given no compensation, until I filed a claim with the BBB. I'm suppose to be reimbursed for my expenses but have yet to receive the check.

They also at one time used the wrong type of screws on my license plate, which were too long and went into the car removing the paint. Your car deserves better! Go else where for service! More
