I just finished purchasing a BMW 335d from Plaza Motors BMW, and what a great experience it was. My Client Advisor was Mike Kuhlmann, and I highly recommend dealing with him. Let me tell you why. I live in Northern California, where my 2011 335d is being shipped. Over the last few months, I have looked at, and dealt with quite a few 335d’s and Client Advisor/Salespeople. The communication, follow up, and professionalism often were not to my standards during these few months. (I can be demanding) I enjoy negotiating, and these skills are required. But not with Mike and Plaza BMW, he is a true professional, who I would hire in a heartbeat if he lived in Northern California. (I manage a staff that exceeds 100) His communication skills, attention to details, and genuine desire to help are off the charts. Example, he called me on his off day, to answer questions, when I was having issues with a credit union and loan documents (issue not with Plaza BMW). All the time their finance department also had been dealing with the issue, but Mike wanted to make sure I was receiving excellent customer service, which I was. Mike gave me straight forward answers to my many questions, listened to what I was looking for, and made me feel as if I had an advocate. Mike is truly an asset to Plaza BMW. I believe the culture and image of a customer friendly service staff starts from the top. I had one correspondence with Ed Federmann (GM of Plaza BMW), after my deal was finalized, and he was open to listening, and quick with responding, and made my request happen. All within minutes, wow what great customer care here! When Mike was off, often Jason Catlin (General Sales Manager) would follow up if I had an urgent question. I found that Jason had many of Mike’s attributes. These two managers surely have developed a sales environment that is respectful, empathic, and truly professional to prospective customers. My only regret is, too bad Plaza BMW is not located in Northern California because I am sure their service department is managed with these high standards. Thank you to the team at plaza BMW, you are truly amazing! More
Wonderful experience. This is my second BMW purchase from Plaza and with Robert Salzman. I will always buy my cars from him. He is top notch. The financial part was handled by Nerijus Vaitulevicius a from Plaza and with Robert Salzman. I will always buy my cars from him. He is top notch. The financial part was handled by Nerijus Vaitulevicius and it was great. He was efficient and low pressure. He is very good at what he does. Again a real pleasure to work with. Jason was able to give me what I wanted for my trade-in. I was very satisfied across the board and highly recommend this dealership. By the way, the service advisors are also the best I have ever experienced. More

We took delivery of a new 2012 335i xDrive from Plaza BMW about a week ago and the experience was A+ all the way. Jason Metcalf was the CA with whom I worked and he did everything right. I had been considering a new BMW for quite a while, back and forth between seriously and just contemplating for a couple of years, and could not find the car or the deal I wanted. I had a very specific vehicle in mind and since there was no urgency, time was not really a factor. Finally hearing "do it or stop talking about it" from my spouse, I sent an e-mail message to dealers within 300 or so miles from home and a few selected others and gave them the list of specifications on the car I wanted. I asked them for their best price if the car was on the lot or if they would order it for me. I also asked for the USAA discount. Several said "no allocation" or "$1000 off MSRP is the best I can do" or "no USAA" or other things that were not going to work. On what just happened to be our 36th wedding anniversary, Jason wrote back "call me" and when I did, he said "Except for a couple of things, I am looking at your car!" A new 2012 335i xDrive coupe, black on black leather, M Sport, Premium, Nav and apps and assist, and six-speed manual which had been impossible to find! It had aluminum interior trim instead of dark burl walnut and no H-K radio but otherwise, it was virtually identical. We negotiated over the telephone. His best price was “invoice” and then the $3000 USAA deduction on top of that made it too hard to resist the 4.5 hour drive to check it out, especially since St. Louis is like a second home to us anyway and this could be a mini-vacation regardless of whether or not we bought the car. We set up delivery on Saturday morning and when we arrived, everything was as planned and two black performance grilles were in the trunk. My spouse said "Happy Anniversary!" and she and I signed the papers. The experience was great, Jason was helpful, no BS, and a pleasure to deal with. After a week and 700+ miles, the car has been great and meets or exceeds all expectations! I highly recommend Plaza BMW and Jason Metcalf. More
Steve was great, he actually works at Infiniti which was my initial vehicle of choice. However, just like STL weather my mind changed constantly. He was actually kind enough and able to assist me at any of the Plaza Dealerships. He was extremelyyyyyyyyy patient with me. I was soooooooooo indecisive about the type of vehicle I wanted. What I did know is I required pure luxury(woodgrain, leather and power everything). I went from white infiniti, to white mercedes, to black mercedes, back to infiniti fx35 then BMW the car of choice. I took almost a month going back and fourth but Steve(what a trooper) he stuck with me, stayed polite,never pushy, very genuine guy(or great actor lol). I can not say enough good things about this man. What I will say though another BMW dealership offered me the same style BMW(different color), 10k less miles at the same price/deal as Plaza, but because of Steve Bierman's most awesome shomanship and patience I went with Plaza. I have and will continue to refer to Steve/Infiniti/Plaza. I am truly a life long customer! Addendum: Maybe I spoke to soon, while Steve from Infiniti is still awesome; I have a cosmetic issue with my car that was suppose to be fixed before I came to pick it up. Well it wasnt,took it in to have the problem fixed again. Still wasnt done, I am currently working with Jason(the used car sales manager) to fix the problem. Addendum 2: Ok so the cosmetic problem was fixed FINALLY, but I continue to have problems with my BMW and Plaza BMW. Jason while appears to be nice he seems to be a little shady. Won't go into all the details to long and drawn out. Unfortunatley, I have to say I will NEVER refer to Plaza BMW, maybe, possibly Infiniti well Steve Bierman. Each visit to Plaza BMW just gets worse. On the part above about being a life long customer, ummmm not so much. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from PLAZA period! The only reason I will keep the rating I gave is because I was truely satisfied with my sales person who is from Infiniti NOT BMW. More
Had a scratch on my car the day i leased it. Brought it in to have the scratch removed as they prmised to fix the day i purchased, took them 3 times to get it right. Every time i was called that it was ready to be picked up, they would say the scratch was gone. I would get there and there the scratch would be. The other issue i had was there was an excessive amount of miles driven on my car. The seat, the stereo were all reprogrammed with other stations, the seat programmed so someone would be sitting practiacally in the back seat. I mentioned it twice to people and they just looked at me like a deer in headlights. I hope their service people enjoyed riving my car around and wasting gas. Should have known when I bought it the deplorable service i would be receiving when it took 5 hours to get through finance because they were so backed up the day i was there and the finance manager left there at 5pm and left the associate to take care of the line of people. I will be going to Newbold BMW from now all for all service. Plaza has completely lost my trust. For what you pay for a car, and being a luxary car, you would think they would have better service. More
