Service Department bad! Had a problem with the paint bubbling on my 2013 elantra, took almost 3 months and letters to corporate to get repairs done. During this process the service manager nor techs comunicated with once, I had to call them for updates. Once car repairs were done, I had a oil change (ask for basic oil change) which should have been 39.95 was bill for over $60, when I questioned this they did a tire rotation also which I did not ask for since I had this done recently. On the bill it said customer requested (which is untrue). They took that charge after I made a big stink about it. I am new to the area and have owned Hyundai's before and have never had such bad service . I will no longer be taking my car there. More

Dealer gave us the lowest bid on a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Good inventory of cars. Charles was knowledgeable and efficient in getting through the purchase. We asked for a color of the car that required to prep a new car "Just off of the transport truck" so the car was prepared rapidly as we did the paper work. Perhaps as a result of the dealer's attempt to help us get the right color some of the paperwork that the dealer was supposed to do, checking tire pressure and battery charge, wasn't marked on the booklet that came with the car. The tires were fine and the battery appears to be fine too so maybe it just didn't get signed off on and had been checked, dunno. The only hang up was when some of the paperwork arrived for us to sign it had, without our request or knowledge, a nearly three thousand dollar increase due to an "Extended Warranty." We pointed out that we had never requested this warranty and the charge was immediately removed. Not a confidence builder and a lesson to always read the paperwork and make sure the price is what was promised...the reason for four stars on the overall experience and not five. We should add that another bay area Hyundai dealer had us preparing to sign the papers on the same essential car when the dealer mentioned "The car you are buying has 800 miles on it." We cancelled the deal upon finding out the car had been driven so far and went to Tracy. Other than the finance upcharge, we had a great experience at Tracy. More
