Stay Far Far Away! ! Horrible Staff, Horrible Service Techs, Horrible Management! Horror story I had purchasing a truck here last month! I Went in to purchase a BLUE CER ! Horrible Staff, Horrible Service Techs, Horrible Management! Horror story I had purchasing a truck here last month! I Went in to purchase a BLUE CERTIFIED 2021 Silverado high county for what I though was a great price… (pay attention to the caps) I was helped by a great salesman named Juan, I was pre approved with my CU so I test drove the truck and notice a little tug on each gear and the tires felt shaky, Juan assured me the truck was fine and it had just been blue certified and it would come with additional warranty, but he would still have his service tech review the issue he then informed me I would have to comeback a few days later to finish the deal since the truck was going to service for 4 new tires, new camera, ceramic coating etc. I said that works got my purchase order and left. I Returned 3 days later with my cashiers check. he informed me the truck had 4 new tires installed & tech didn’t see any issues but again it was BLUE CERTIFIED and if I had any issues I would be able to take it to any gm dealer for service. I was a bit iffy but on such a great deal I said let’s do it, we went to the finance office to complete the paperwork, but the finance manager was too busy to assist. So they had the salesman bring the paperwork to the waiting room and had me sign there. Smh I should have known to pass at that point. He handed me the keys and I as I was leaving I mentioned to the salesman so do you not want the cashiers check. He laughed and grabbed it. At this point I asked for copies of the warranty and paperwork and they assured me it would be emailed over. I never received any of the paperwork.On the way home once the truck was warm I noticed the tugging got worse and the truck started going into limp mode all the way home, I texted Juan right away and informed him of the issue. He brushed it off and said I’ll tell management to rush your blue certification and we will cover the deductible for service , 5 days later nothing 10 days later nothing, I called Juan back and informed him ford was not seeing it on their warranty, he informed me the truck needed to go back to planet ford because the last tech never installed the “NEW TIRES” or camera, so it would need that before being certified, here I am the whole time thinking the truck had new tires already installed. I agreed to take it in on a Friday. I arrive to get tires installed at noon, 3hours go by and they are still working on the truck, 1 hour after that the manager comes out to inform me unfortunately the tech found transmission issues, and for this reason the truck wouldn’t be able to be BLUE CERTIFIED, smh 🤦♂️ 4 hours just to tell me that.He gave me 2 options small discount, or back out of a deal that was 3 weeks old, he assured me accounting still had my check and it was never cashed. So I thought about it and at this point I can’t believe anything they are saying because of all the previous LIES. So I said let’s reverse the deal, He said ok no problem accounting will bring your check down give us a few minutes. 1 hour later no check yet, at this point I’m just stuck there with no one to help me, the manager comes out and says sorry Jose I though Juan told you but we actually did cash your cashiers check, so we will overnight it to you on Monday. I was so irritated at this point and said ok I expect the check Monday. He assured and promised it would be done. Monday morning I call, no answer, I text them no answer I finally had enough around noon called their accounting department and spoke to Karen just to find out the manager never informed her of the reversal and overnight check and he was now on vacation.She then informs me that they don’t do next day checks you have to wait 7-10days from the day it was cashed. Lucky for me the check had been cashed the next day after purchase. She said I’ll get the signatures needed from the manager and overnight, took an additional 5 days for the overnight check. Do yourself a favor and stay away More

Randall Reed's Planet Ford Horrible customer service,I purchased a pre-owned 2019 Ford Ranger for my wife on Valentines day 2 days later steering went out had to spend 695 to have it towed to my house .Ha purchased a pre-owned 2019 Ford Ranger for my wife on Valentines day 2 days later steering went out had to spend 695 to have it towed to my house .Have called Byron my salesman and got cut off left 3 voice mails never responded. Called the used car service dept left 4 messages no response,tried to call finance dept I did talk to finance said can you put me in a different vehicle he said he would talk to sales manager then call me back he never did I have left multiple messages no reply, I finally got in touch with manager and they said they sold the other truck I originally wanted . So now I am out 695 for towing and be more then 10 days before the truck is fixed. Do not purchase from Planet Ford. More
We had such a pleasant experience buying a Ford F-150 from Planet Ford in 2023, that we didn't even consider shopping elsewhere for a second vehicle in 2025. This time we purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer S from Planet Ford in 2023, that we didn't even consider shopping elsewhere for a second vehicle in 2025. This time we purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer ST-Line from Planet Ford through Randy Cortez. Our experience was once again a pleasant one. Randy was courteous and professional, and very knowledgeable about the vehicle we were purchasing as well as the sales process. He was patient with any questions we had and walked us through the whole process of purchasing this SUV. Thanks, Randy. It is so nice to find a reliable dealership that doesn't use "bait-and-switch" tactics, or advertise super low prices then tack on thousands of dollars in obscure additional charges.
