I went to Pine Belt Subaru Monday morning for a Oil change and tire rotation. They advised me that the front passenger tire has a nail in the tire and they checked it with spraying water and it's leak change and tire rotation. They advised me that the front passenger tire has a nail in the tire and they checked it with spraying water and it's leaking, the tire needs replacing at $221.00. They also said the engine air filter and cabin filter needs replacing at $58. 00 and $55.00. I did the filters but not the tire. I have been driving for 3 days already and the tire all the tires are holding at 35 PSI, with no leaks, so the TIRE DID NOT NEED REPLACING. Regarding the filters, Subaru says to change at 30,000 miles, the car has 19,000 miles, so that also did not need replacing. Then they stick you with an additional charge of $17.00 for "shop-charges". I was takin over the barrel. I think it would be advisable to notify Subaru directly. More

Last week I brought my Ascent in for my first service. I was met by Nick who checked me in and later set me up with Joe a service technician. I needed to have my tire pressure monitoring system checked on January 25th. I was traveling from Florida to Toms River to visit with my daughter. Michael Yurcho was a pleasure to work with. Very Professional. Friendly and Knowledgeable. When we viewed the vehicle it was very dirty from sitting on the lot. After we signed the papers and the car was brought to us washed. My wife and I noticed 3 paint blemishes on the hood. Being a Retired Fire Fighter/Medic and part time detailer, I asked that the dealership attempt to repair the blemishes. I was asked to bring it in for window vents, mud flap install and paint repair. All but the paint repair was completed. On 11/25/2024 I received a call from our Salesman Michael Yurcho. He explained to me that our vehicle was not taken in to the detail shop to make the repair on the 3 paint blemishes during the recent visit to install the window vents and mud flaps. In fact, Michael stated that they still planned to fixing the 3 blemishes. Michael asked me to send him a few pics tonight when my wife gets home from work with the vehicle. He will then schedule a day for the vehicle to be returned to the detail shop to fix the 3 blemishes. With this new information. I updated the review. I will post the final outcome upon completion.
