We purchased Nissan Sentra 2011 model on March 26, 2011 Saturday. It took about 5 hours to process all the paperwork. The instrument panel light wasn't working after several attempts to fix it by the sales Saturday. It took about 5 hours to process all the paperwork. On March 28, 2011 Monday, we brought back the car to dealership to fix the light and was taken care of after half an hour of waiting. On April 7, 2011 Thursday, we went back to the dealership to pick up the plates which were installed by the dealership after ten days. I feel it's aweful long to take that many days considering the DMV is right next door to the dealership. Also I feel I should be compensated or reimbursed on the mileage to make the extra 120 miles (2 trips)to bring back my car to the dealership for no fault of my own. Thanks. I wanted to add that Pine Belt Nissan was the third and last Nissan dealership i visited in a week. I left the other nissan dealerships because i was unhappy with the salesmen, customer service as well as last Nissan dealership i visited in a week. I left the other nissan dealerships because i was unhappy with the salesmen, customer service as well as pricing and almost wanted to forget buying a nissan all together. i kept in contact with pine belt sales even during my search with other dealers. I heard great things about the sales department from other people who have purchased their nissan at pine belt so i decided to take their advise and contact the sales dept. I was in contact with Nick Cataldo and explained to him in detail exactly what i was looking for, what car i was interested and how much i wanted to pay for the vehicle. He was very friendly, professional and honest. He was even encouraging on how i deserved the vehicle when i was second guessing myself. Usually i would say "he was just being that way so he can get a deal" but i really didnt feel he was all about that, but truely wanted me to be happy with my decision. He worked with me on a deal that i am very pleased with. I wanted to add that the managers were also very helpful. The sales people are very friendly even though I had an appointment with a specific sales person named Nick Cataldo. They made efforts to locate Mr. Cataldo to ensure that I would be taken care of. As for Mr. Cataldo, I leased a new car with him because my prior experience with him several years ago when he worked at another Nissan dealership was simply superb. His professional and social skills compelled me to do business with him, no matter where he worked. And so even though I live on Staten Island, NY, I followed him to New Jersey simply because I knew he could find the best deal for what I was looking for without the usual nonsense that most people encounter in searching for a car. In fact, he and I simply texted one another to reach a deal without my having to visit the showroom until the day i actually signed the financial papers and drove off. He had the car prepped and ready and my entire time at the showroom from the time I got there and until I drove off was less than an hour, and this included a fifteen minute hands on lesson with him on the workings the of the new car. The finance person I dealt with was a very pleasant but professionally efficient staff person who got me out of there as quickly as possible. Overall, this dealerships is absolutely excellent and Nick Cataldo is someone I would highly recommend to contact if you are interested in a car. I drove away from there with a great feeling that I got the best deal possible and in the most friendly and professional way. There are some places I have been to in the past where I have driven away feeling somewhat dirty, as if I had been taken, because of the high pressure sales and financial tactics, but definitely not here.
