Terrible service department Terrible service experience. I got notices for 2recalls on my Grand Cherokee both of which indicated they were safety issues. Both also indicated Terrible service experience. I got notices for 2recalls on my Grand Cherokee both of which indicated they were safety issues. Both also indicated they would take approximately one and a half hours each to address and if the one inspection determined it was an issue the fix would take additional time. When I called in to schedule the appointment I asked for a loaner car, as I had been told when I purchased the car loaners were available, and did not want to waste 3 hours of time on a recall issue. The service people told me that I did not qualify for a loaner as the service was going to take less than 6 hours. (This timeframe for loaners was not disclosed to me when I bought the car this past summer). Instead I scheduled an appointment for this Saturday morning as that is the only time I can wait hours to get my car. When I get there is morning they tell me they have the appointment for the following week and refuse to look at the car, despite sending letters urging me to come in for this safety issue. Even after explaining I had written down the time and date while on the phone they refuse to try and make any accommodation and instead say there is nothing they can do. I can only assume if I had been in for a paying service they would have gladly taken my car. However since this was a non paying "safety recall" they simply sent me on my way so that I not only had to waste this morning but another Saturday as well. It is clear to me that the dealership does value their customers time nor apparently their safety More
Service department is awful!!!! Awful experience with the service department! I brought my jeep (3rd one I've purchased from this dealership in 3 years) in for some electrical work c Awful experience with the service department! I brought my jeep (3rd one I've purchased from this dealership in 3 years) in for some electrical work covered by the warranty. When I went to pick it up I was told I owed $80 for an oil change. I didn't ask for an oil change, I have no idea why they did an oil change, it had just had one. When I questioned it, the service manager said, "well we did one so....." really??? I couldn't have my car back unless I paid for it. I paid for it figuring I could call the dealership manager the next day and straighten it out. Three voice mails later over the next week and no calls back. Great customer service. I guess customer loyalty and satisfaction mean nothing to them. All they had to do was apologize and maybe give me a free oil change in the future. They really missed the opportunity to do the right thing. More

The recall was to install a trailer hitch to reinforce the rear bumper area on the Liberty. In some cases a rear collision can cause a puncture of the fuel tank, and nobody wants that. We also wanted them to diagnose a check engine light and inspect the vehicle. I went to drop the Jeep off the night before and guess what? The service department at Pine Belt Jeep was abandoned and a sign was taped in the door that they had moved to the Chevy Service department a mile up the road. It would have been nice of the dealership people to let us know this when the appointment was made but OK maybe moving out slipped their mind. Dealer service advisor Mike calls late in the afternoon to let us know that they didn't have the parts and had to get them from elsewhere. Is 2 weeks not enough notice? Mike also informs us that they will not have time to do diagnostics since they don't bring cars in and out they only bring them into service bay once and since they had to wait for parts my daughters car didn't make it in till late. On my night drop slip I also mention to please make sure that while the car is apart to install trailer lighting along with the reinforcing hitch. Mike informs me that this is not part of the deal. Since the in my mind the work wasn't completed (no wiring) I give the quality of work 2 stars. More

Jim Stoltz has been very helpful in the past, I just didn't get around to doing the review. Today, "Eddie" or Ed Donohue helped me and was very professional and easy to talk to. They did a great job and my experience was easy and pleasant. I hope they can get something for a positive review. More
It was awesome until I took my 04 pacifica in for service. They gave me a ride home, charged a nominal diagnostic fee and called me promptly with a diagnosis. They commu I took my 04 pacifica in for service. They gave me a ride home, charged a nominal diagnostic fee and called me promptly with a diagnosis. They communicated well at every step of the way. After I picked up the car, I was very happy, it ran great, Except when I turned the key off, the car lost all power (no accessory power anywhere). I called the servicer hoping it was just something simple they could talk me through ove the phone, and they said my service rep was busy and they would email him to call me back, hours later he never did. I called again, and they said the same thing, he was busy and he would call me back. Finally, the next day, after not receiving a phone call, I drove the car back to the dealer. He was there and told me that because there was another issue that I was going to take to the dealer to address, he would not review the repair for mistakes. He said it was all tied into this other problem. So I left, I did some research, and found that the IOD fuse in the new power module they installed was not inserted properly causing everything to shut off. literally 30 seconds to fix and something that a qualified mechanic should have been able to spot. I was thrilled with the service and high level of communication until they already had my money. It seemed after that, they do not care what happens to the vehicle. I would have been happy even if they would have taken it back in looked at it and said "nope we were right, it is the other problem". However, in this case, it turned out to be their simple mistake that cost me about two days of research and diagnostic to track down because it was an expensive repair that i could not afford to put more money into at the moment. but their lack of responsiveness or empathy after the sale leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. Visiting the area from northwest NJ. Engine light came on. I called one dealership close to where I was and they could not see me for a few days. Another dealer number was called -- continuous busy sign on. I called one dealership close to where I was and they could not see me for a few days. Another dealer number was called -- continuous busy signal. I called Pine Belt Chrysler-Jeep and they offered me 3 different appointments although they were quite busy and this was verified when I got there. When I did bring the Jeep there, they were smiling, friendly, courteous and assured me they would do the work as soon as possible. I asked if there was any nearby place for breakfast and they indicated a Dunkin donuts only about 1/4 mile away -- and then actually offered to drive me there! I politely declined. The Jeep was soon ready and a computer problem was rectified. There was no charge. The Jeep is only 7 months old so I had been understandably concerned. They made the experience absolutely as pleasant as possible. Highest rating. More
I came into the dealership this morning to service my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (which I love) and after some frustrating communication with the gentleman at the service counter, I saw Mike Kevoian in the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (which I love) and after some frustrating communication with the gentleman at the service counter, I saw Mike Kevoian in the showroom. He was there on his day off; he recognized me from the sale of my Jeep in November. Mike was not even my salesman, but stopped to talk to me and ask me if he could help. He stayed at the dealership in street clothes on his day off to help me rectify the issue I was having! That is going above and beyond! He was not going to make any money by helping me and spent his own time to do so. He introduced me to Joe D,Angelo, one of the managers, who was also amazing, and my problem was solved immediately. I cannot thank Mike enough! This is a testament to the employees of Pine Belt. The salesman, like Mike Kevoian and Nick Anello, truly care about their clients and their commitment to do a wonderful job speaks volumes! They are truly good men and I would recommend them to anyone! More

We purchased a used 2008 car through this dealership about 2 years ago, and my stepfather recently went to have it serviced and I can`t believe how badly he was ripped off. My step father is a nice easy about 2 years ago, and my stepfather recently went to have it serviced and I can`t believe how badly he was ripped off. My step father is a nice easy going veteran that they saw a mile away. The car has @ 25000 miles on it only @7000 additional miles since purchase, and the service center took him to the cleaners. They told him he needed new brakes and rotors, rotated his tires, etc. To the tune of $700 dollars. Tires did not need to be rotated for $25 a tire, and rotors certaintly didn`t need to be replaced with only 25,000 miles on the car, and brakes still were at @ 25-50% life. He went to have fluids checked and topped off, but ended up having all this done that didn`t need to be done, and also recieved a list of things that still need to be done soon. Its shameful that such a corporation would take advantage of an elder disabled navy veteran. More
