This review is focused on the Service Department at Pierre Ford Lynnwood. I'll start with, do not under any circumstances go to this dealership for service!!! You will get ripped off and no one ther Pierre Ford Lynnwood. I'll start with, do not under any circumstances go to this dealership for service!!! You will get ripped off and no one there cares to justify it! I bought a car from this dealership years ago, and that seemed to go well, but I have nothing but negative remarks about their Service Department. I recently took my truck in to have the window fixed. It fell out of the track and it wasn't something that I could fix myself. I had started the job by taking off the door panel but turns out it was above my paygrade. After charging me their $300+ dollar "diagnostic fee" they said it needed a new part, and that and the labor would bring the cost to just over $1300!! When I went to pick up the truck the door panel wasn't even put back on!! They said they didn't know it was in the truck. (Must have been pretty hard to look in the back, and the screws were all in a zip lock in the cup holder!!) He then went to start it and said the battery was dead and had to jump it prior to driving it back down to the service guys to put the panel on. Since they had my truck for well over a week I have to assume that this wasn't the first time they had to jump it, but never heard anything about that from the service rep. Let me say again, they were going to charge over $1300 and I took off the door panel, and they weren't even going to put it back on!! After another 30 minutes he brought the truck back and said that it's not charging so perhaps the alternator was bad. They could look at it, but it would be another $300+ diagnostic check, and then the part. The service guy said it would be well over $1000. I told them where they could go and that I wouldn't EVER think of doing anything with the dealership and that I would send a tow truck to pick it up. I then took it to my regular, very reputable mechanic, who installed a new alternator, ran a complete vehicle diagnostic all for just over $550. I should have taken it there initially, but figured a Ford dealership might have better experience with something like a window replacement. All I can say is, I'm a Ford guy, but if Pierre was the last dealership in the country, I'd buy a Chevy!!! Do not ever go here!!! More
The Salesman Guillermo was fine and did all he could to assist me. However, the finance department is deceptive as can be. The deal had already been struck before we traveled 8 hours to get there. All we h assist me. However, the finance department is deceptive as can be. The deal had already been struck before we traveled 8 hours to get there. All we had to do was sign and go. They kept us there for 3 hours before we went to sign. It was all done on a giant I pad think and the finance guy sped through it like he was in NASCAR. As we were already way behind trying to start the 8 hour journey home and his rushing, I missed a few things he "sneaked" into the paperwork like $500 for some sort of undisclosed aftermarket thing?? And then I find we were shorted $3K on our trade in!! I have now been trying for a week to get this resolved and keep getting stonewalled in return. As there are Ford dealers everywhere, I would suggest a different one than Harris Ford Lynnwood. More
TLDR: Overpriced vehicle with documented issues, aggressive sales manager, and bad-faith negotiations on a car that supposedly already sold despite still being on their website as "Available." Di aggressive sales manager, and bad-faith negotiations on a car that supposedly already sold despite still being on their website as "Available." Disappointing customer service when looking to buy a used vehicle. The original sales rep I spoke to was unavailable for the scheduled test drive. I did get to speak with his direct manager and another rep. That second rep (Zeke) was great, nice and friendly and helpful. The manager was extremely pushy and trying to get me to pay well over what I believed the car to be worth given the issues that came up. The car was very clean, however it had a dead battery and wouldn't start when we first got to it, and it had an open recall from 9 years prior. On top this, it had minimal service records beyond pulling multiple pounds of pine needles out of the doors to let out several gallons of water. I wouldn't take the car that day. A floor manager reached out the next day and asked how they could get my business. I told them the price was too high and about the issues the vehicle had. They then responded with saying the car had sold earlier that day, though the website says it's available at time of writing. More
