Piazza Honda of Reading - Service Center

My car needed to have Engine rings replaced as part of a warranty/recall so I brought my car in on Sunday for a Monday appointment. I had not heard anything by Friday evening so I called around 6pm to check warranty/recall so I brought my car in on Sunday for a Monday appointment. I had not heard anything by Friday evening so I called around 6pm to check the status of my car and was told that since it was close to closing someone would give me a call the next day. No problem. No one called the next day, so I called in the afternoon to check again. I was told that the person I needed to talk to was busy but that he would call me back. When I asked if he would call me back that day, I was told rudely “MA’AM he’s almost done“. I did not receive a call back that day. After I picked my car up for service I noticed that the engine sounded louder than normal. I called and left a message for the service department on Wednesday morning and I’m still waiting to hear back. More

I expected to have somewhat of the same experience as my last dealership, it was not at all. I did not speak to anyone about my car at all, no one seemed interested in me as a new customer. The customer in front of me when I was checking out seemed very frustrated at the girl behind the counter, and the girl seemed not to care too much. It was very confusing listening to their conversation about the women's bill. I do live about an hour from the dealership and believe I will look for another Acura dealer closer to where I live. More
