I brought my car in for the first scheduled service since purchase in November and the experience was very pleasant. Routine maintenance turned into needing new struts. Service writer quoted $1421. Then mentioned it may be covered under my extended warranty. I advised him I wasn’t sure who mine was with but he could check the glove box. After hanging up I remembered and contacted my warranty company myself. They advised me that struts were covered 100% zero deductible. Stewart then called me back telling me I have great news the warranty will cover the struts. So instead of them being just about $1500 (last call was $1400) you’ll only have to pay $150. When I explained I had zero deductible he tried to convince me why I still had to pay. I didn’t pay almost 2k for a warranty for your dealer to try to charge me additional for service. After arguing Stewart acted like he was doing me a favor by not charging me. He said don’t worry I’ll just take care of it myself. Had I not called my warranty company myself and been informed I would’ve been ripped off. And it makes me question how many unsuspecting customers are being ripped off. I think it may be time to find another dealer after going here for 3 years since purchasing my Acura. When I got a follow up call the woman didn’t seem to care about my issue either. Be careful!! They will rip you off! More
