Over the last 12 years I have had very good service from Philpott Toyota until last spring. I took my 2010 Sequoia in for a transmission flush. It had about 121,000 miles on the odometer. I had it flushed at 60,000 miles which is the recommended maintenance interval. Unbeknownst to me the Service Manager told the service rep to indicate only a change of fluid. The Svc Mgr assumed the vehicle had never had the transmission serviced. AND GET THIS: The transmission was serviced at Phillpott at the 60,000 mile interval about 8 years ago. Needless to say, I was upset. Very upset. My Sequoia in in excellent shape and only looks to be 5 to 7 years old. Rather than ask me or look up the service record she, the SM made a decision to limit service. Why? No clue. I know cars and have worked on them most of my life. My bet is she doesn't have mechanical experience and if she does, then double shame on her. She is a Service Manager, not my parent. MY CAR AND MY MONEY, not hers. I complained and was told to bring the car back for a transmission flush which I did several months later but the connections were never broken (I know what to look for) and the flush never performed. It was another fluid change and I am not sure they did that much. I truly feel sorry for the poor service rep, She did an EXCELLENT job but was caught in the middle. Not sure what the SM did to her but given my experience and I have a great deal managing people, I am guessing the SM took it out on the Service Rep. Recently, I took my wife's Lexus in for service and asked to speak with the master mechanic. He is top notch! It would have been a 5 minute conversation and I offered to pay for his time. I am considering having a $3000 service done on my Sequoia but wanted to speak with someone I trusted before committing to the expenditure. I was told he was too busy and that they would have him call me that afternoon or the next. It has been a month since that promise and no bells. Honestly, I wasn't holding my breath. By bet: The Service Manger struck again. Time to take my business elsewhere. I hate to to do it but better than continuing to receive the treatment I am getting at this dealership and it won't change until the Service Manager is gone. Who knows when someone is going to wake up and figure that one out? More

I had to go get a tire taken care of at Philpott Toyota, but I knew the experience would be excellent before I ever went because their service crew, and actually all their staff, are so outstanding. It is such a relief for me because my husband always handled stuff like this, but he is on Hospice in a nursing home, so, as you can imagine, I am a bit emotional because dealing with car maintenence is so unfamiliar to me. When I saw that my favorite service guy would be taking care of me, my heart was so glad and I immediately relaxed because this guy, Keith Peterson, elevates the word AWESOME. This guy ALWAYS treats me like family. sure enough, he did again! Seriously, if you haven't been in my situation, that I am suddenly handling everything my precious husband handled for 54 years, then you cannot imagine how much I appreciate Toyota having professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and friendly employees like Keith Peterson. I highly recommend Philpott Toyota because of employees like Keith! Well done, Philpott Toyota! More
It is 10:50pm and the check engine light came on and my son discovered that I have no oil in my car. The dipstick has a drop on the tip. I was going out of town in the morning with my 92 year old father and we would have been stranded on the road. I will be contacting Philpott first thing in the morning. I am confident that this will be easily taken care of as soon as possible. The service ladies were all very nice and friendly. They get 5 stars! More

After getting my wife her first new vehicle last year, I decided to have y’all do a complete detail for her once you completed a manufacturer’s recall. Just a word of advice, if a customer is going to trust y’all and go to you for a detail and pay $110, don’t leave the vehicle outside when it is sprinkling. My wife was looking forward to finally having her vehicle professionally done, only to see that the whole SUV was covered in watermarks, including every window and windshield! So much for her having it look all nice and shiny. We will NOT be using your service again. Someone used very poor judgement! More
