Car wouldn't start and battery wouldn't charge. Suspecting a problem with the alternator I had Ford Assistance tow the vehicle to Philpott Ford Service. My service advisor was Keegan Johnson. Explained that he wasn't certain how soon they could service my car since it was the end of day and unscheduled. Brought it in Tuesday evening and had it back Thursday afternoon. Confirmed bad cell in battery, no electrical problems. Did overall checkup, oil change and tire rotation. Keegan was very courteous, attentive and made sure that my battery was covered under warranty. I highly recommend Keegan and the Philpott service department. More

They attempted deceive me and made excuses and tried to change their story. Even the salesman said he told the service writer not to "fluff" me because I knew my stuff. I've turned wrenches for 30 years and basic maintenance even on the newer vehicles is quite easy, and easy to keep tabs on. I came in for a brake booster replacement on my daughter's 2011 Ford Edge, under factory extended warranty and check an oil pressure sensor that flashed a warning. Of course no charge on the booster, no diagnosis on the oil pressure sensor, and then they had a list of $400-$500 worth of maintenance items (no warranty coverage) that needed immediate repair/replacement. When I called them on it, because we bought the car FROM THEM, 3 months earlier (~2k miles), they made excuses and lies as to how they came up with those "needed" repairs. I have pics of the item's status and they are nowhere near failure or required replacement. Had my wife or daughter been dealing with them they may have been successful at bilking them out of that money. I will be contacting the general manager, and NEVER doing business with them again, Really sad as we just bought a 2019 Expedition in February, and have purchased 3 other vehicles with them in past years. More
$50 basic oil change, supposed to have done multipoint inspection but proved that was not done as tire pressure was lower than it was supposed to be and when finished with service tire pressure was never inspection but proved that was not done as tire pressure was lower than it was supposed to be and when finished with service tire pressure was never adjusted to OE spec. Oil life monitor was not reset by technician when oil was changed as myFord app is still telling me I need to schedule service soon only 8% oil life. It’s been raining so I will have to verify my oil was actually changed when it stops. Hopefully my $50 did actually get the oil at least changed. More
