Mr. Bonferraro, You came into the dealership stating that for the last week and a half, a brake noise was heard and brake pedal had a light issue with it. You were made aware that there would be a 1-hour diagnosis fee for this issue. To determine the repairs needed, wheels and calipers where removed and caliper was tested. The caliper was determined to be seized at this time. You were presented with the cost of repairs, to which you declined. Because of the state of the calipers, the vehicle was not drivable. You did not want to do the work because you were thinking about trading in the vehicle. You were offered a rental car at no charge ($252 cost to the dealership) and a reduced cost of repairs. You then left with a free rental car and proceeded to immediately go online and leave us a bad review. Once again, you were called and offered if you preferred to tow it to another facility. You again declined. Repairs where completed a day early, and you were notified to come pick up vehicle and you declined until Monday when a Manager was available. You then drove vehicle Monday, and acknowledged the quality of the repair. You then reviewed cost of repairs and then you demanded that diagnostic fee be returned. You then stated that your advisor had told you he would refund it. Service advisor was asked about this and confirmed they never offered to refund diagnostic fee. The initial quote was $2225. You ended up paying $1999.00. You received a total of $500 in discounts based on rental value and cost of repairs. Plus, unlike when you arrived, you left with a vehicle that had working brakes. We did everything we could do in this situation, but you intended on leaving negative feedback no matter what we did to help. -Phillips Toyota Management
