Our experience at Phillips Chevrolet was a welcome change. We have looked for a used truck for about a month and have "danced" with several other local and not so local dealers! At Phillips, our salesman Sam Darwish was pleasant and friendly but professional and approachable! He was down-to-earth and no smarmy "sales" lines! He was easy to work with and made "the deal" part of our purchase a great experience, actually! As a matter of fact, we actually laughed while making the deal! All salesman should learn how to do this. It is so much more pleasant to make such a difficult, expensive decision during these times. Mark, the sales manager, even came over during "the deal" and talked with us and was a pleasure to work with. How many people can say that they have laughed and cracked jokes while trying to buy a car...not many I would guess. So many people have horror stories about car buying...why can't car dealers realize that making people dread buying a car doesn't make them readily reasonable. If more car dealers were like Phillips Chevrolet, there would be far fewer horror stories out there. All the way through the buying process Phil, Mike, even the "girl behind the glass" everyone greeted us with genuine smiles...not just the fake salesman smiles. It really was a great experience.
