I opted to visit Phillips Chevrolet to inquire about a test drive in a new Equinox. The vehicle had received very good safety reviews and I was looking for a small SUV with 4WD or AWD capabilities. I opted to utilize their website to preview and select available models(My local dealer was out of the 6cyl models). Upon arrival, I followed up with the website suggestions on a contact for my visit and was introduced to Bob Brow as my Sales Consultant. Following an informative and eye opening test drive, and overview of the vehicle, I was comfortable that it met my requirements. The next phase, the haggling bit with the out-the-door pricing adventure, was a surprising experience vs previous challenges in years past at other dealers. Despite being a little low on the trade-in for my current vehicle, I opted to accept the deal for two reasons: 1) the overall buying experience, and 2) the reputation for the dealership from what I had heard in the past. Needless to say, I am happy with my buying experience, with Bob Brow's presentation of the vehicle and dealership, and would recommend this dealership experience to family and friends without hesitation. My son is in the US Navy,just finished his first deployment in the middle east and is home now for a well deserved leave. He has been looking and thinking about a used truck. He had been to several dealerships with no luck in the past. After our experience at Phillips, I told him to try there so we did. And guess what? Marty came through again. I guess when your that nice to your customers you just want to go back. And of course Marty knocked it out of the park. My son is very happy with his truck and it fit into his military budget.
