I recently purchased a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort IL.. I visited many dealerships before I stopped into look at the cars at Phillips. The first time I stopped to look Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort IL.. I visited many dealerships before I stopped into look at the cars at Phillips. The first time I stopped to look at SUV's I was pressed for time and parked my car near the service department and went into the lot to look at the selection of SUV's I was looking to purchase. I went back to the dealship the next day to take a better view of the SUV's that were in stock and all the options available. When I finally walked into the sales office I was approached by a very friendly salesmen Marty McKenna and he asked me if there was anything that he could help me with today. I explained to him that I had decided to purchase a 2011 or a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox but I still had a few weeks until I was ready to buy. If I could get a good deal on a 2011 I would do it anytime but I just need a car for my wife before the snow starts to fly. My wife was driving a sports car that is not a winter car. Marty was very helpful and let me test drive any Equinox for the LT to the LTZ to see which car I would like to purchase for my wife. Well after 4 hours of looking at cars and trying to figure out which SUV was the best for our family I decided to purchase a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ with a 6 cylinder engine and every option availble. I have been to many dealerships over the last two months and I can tell you that Marty will work with you put you into a car or SUV that fits your needs and budget. I never felt pressured to purchase a car or SUV. This was my choice and he never once asked me what I have heard numerous from other dealerships " What do I have to do to get you into this car today" !!! We took several months and visits to Phillips Cheverlot before deciding on puchasing our 2012 Equinox. The team was patient with us and Daniel Bachert made himself available to us when we arrived to take before deciding on puchasing our 2012 Equinox. The team was patient with us and Daniel Bachert made himself available to us when we arrived to take another look at or drive the Equinox. When we finally decided on the color and options we wanted, there were none on the lot. However Daniel searched a 600 mile radius to try and find what we were looking for. Unfortunatly, the two colors (Cyber Grey or Red)were no longer being manufactured. We settled on the Mocha Steel with the two tone brown leather seats. Again, there wer none in the area so we decided to order the equinox directly from the factory. The Equinox was delivered to the dealership in about 6 - 8 weeks. We were very pleased on the look and feel of our new Equinox. More
