Complimentary oil change I purchased a new GMC pickup two years ago and brought it in for its second oil change. (I don't drive it much.) The salesman had informed me at the I purchased a new GMC pickup two years ago and brought it in for its second oil change. (I don't drive it much.) The salesman had informed me at the time of purchase that the pickup came with two complimentary oil changes, which I appreciated very much. I made an appointment for an oil change on Friday, but the first available opening was the following Wednesday. I was greeted and treated very nicely and professionally by the young lady at the service desk. I left my pickup there for the day, as I had to go to work. Upon arriving that evening to pick up my vehicle, I was presented a bill for services. When I questioned why this was not considered a complimentary oil change, the lady at the desk showed me that the paper work spelled out that the complimentary oil changes were tied to a timeline and that my free oil changes had expired 4 days earlier. I was completely taken by surprise by this revelation. (At this point I will interject with a very honest response that I find that an expiration date like that is rather disappointing policy.) She took my paperwork and reappeared a few moments later with the news that I would be receiving the oil change for free--this one would be on the dealership. I appreciated her ability to make things "right" for me. Thank you. More

Not satisfied! We own a 2015 Equinox with only 73000 miles on it. The air conditioning compressor stopped working and we had it checked before bring it in to you. Th We own a 2015 Equinox with only 73000 miles on it. The air conditioning compressor stopped working and we had it checked before bring it in to you. The reason for bring it in was that my wife called your service department and was told, “after they went and checked”, that it would be covered under warranty. We set up an appointment, bring it in, tell the service man what it was in for (compressor) not working. We leave it and get a call in about two hours telling us that it was going to cost somewhere around $750. I asked about what was told to my wife about coverage and was told that it only covered the power train. I understand power train warranties, my wife understands power train warranties, but when you’re told that a part on a vehicle is covered under warranty, and you bring it in, and it’s not covered! Then you have made a mistake or you’re flat out lying to get people’s money. I refused to pay for a new compressor and then was charged $69 for servicing the compressor to see what the problem was. My wife and myself told the service man what the problem was and know they’re charging me for something I already know! I ask to speak to the manager, which I did and I was given the how will trained the service people are and how many hours of training they go through, asking if I had an extended warranty, makes me wonder if it’s more pressure on the buyer to spend more money, and basically covering everything but want the real issue was, lying about the warranty and the charge of $69. Not satisfied with your service and the fact that a vehicle (CHEVY) with only 73000 miles has a compressor that goes bad. Not very reliable! Have to rethink the next new car we purchase! More
