On-time, quick, quality service. Everyone is here to help you and no one is above the job to get you out quickly and with the job well done. Even the manager dressed in nice clothes got under the vehicle in the dirt to help his crew and to expedite our service. Highly recommend this service department to anyone who wants their Ford treated right. Not all service departments are alike. This is one of the best in the state. More
Great service! Very happy working with them I have been to 4 different Ford dealerships while I owned my F150 and this one is the best. I worked with Derrick to turn in my vehicle through USAA car selling program. Derrick was articulate, fast, effiecient, and through. The other salesmen didn't try and sell me when I walked up, I simply arrived, stated what I needed, and everything flowed smoothly from there. Derrick is humble and honest, a hard trait to find in a car salesmen. Based on my experience alone, I would drive from Colorado Springs to buy a Ford from Derrick even thought there are two other dealership that are less than 20 miles from my house. More

The buying experience was very good, he was friendly and helpful. They welcomed us to Phil Long with a New Car Owner dinner at the dealership which was very nice. That’s where the positive experience ends. I took the car in for service right after I bought it. Bad switch, Dwayne C. was the service writer. I ask him to look at the radio head while it was in due to a rattle we were hearing. When I picked the car up he stated they had wrapped it with felt tape. The rattle was still there so I took it apart myself and they did nothing. He basically lied to me. I fixed it myself. They offer you a booklet with your new car to get free oil changes so for the first oil change I went to the Quick Lane thereto get the oil changed. I noticed my vehicle was being driven down the main service bay with the hood up, the mechanic sprayed water on the engine then closed the hood and delivered the car to me. When I got in my brand new vehicle there was a grease stain on the drivers floor mat. I took it home and was cleaning the grease stain and noticed a pool or oil on my garage floor. After removing parts I found the cause to be the mechanic had spilled oil all over the rear area of the engine! Thanks for telling me, NOT! His feeble attempt to rinse it off did nothing except endanger himself, others and my vehicle by driving it with the hood up. I spoke to the service manager Steve G. about all of this and was promised that they would take care of the vehicle. NOPE! Lesson learned and this review to warn others about the substandard work of the service staff there. I am going to get the service work done now at Lakewood Fordland. Just spoke to the service manager there and hopefully will have a better experience. More

Now I have to take my focus in for the 3rd time because the latch on my drivers side door still isn't working right. I have a warranty on my car and have paid $190.00 so far. My doors will not lock from the button on the door. You think they would have checked that out before the called me for the 2nd time I had it in. More
I've been to a few different ford dealers in Colorado and Illinois and I have to say by FAR, this is the best one i've been too. Their service is great, its fast, efficient, and they are all straight to and Illinois and I have to say by FAR, this is the best one i've been too. Their service is great, its fast, efficient, and they are all straight to the point and don't try to tell you things are wrong with your truck when they are not. This is by FAR the most HONEST dealership i've ever been too, and when i'm in Colorado, I will ONLY be bringing my ford to this dealership. More
Rip-off artists! I called Phil Long Ford 2 days ago to Rip-off artists! I called Phil Long Ford 2 days ago to get a quote on installing some shocks I'd already bought for my vehicle. After verifying th Rip-off artists! I called Phil Long Ford 2 days ago to get a quote on installing some shocks I'd already bought for my vehicle. After verifying that they were just shocks, not struts, and not coil-wrapped or anything more involved, I was quoted $130 for the job, as it would be about an hour and a half's labor. I went in this morning to have the work done, and was asked by the service writer if I'd been quoted a price. "Yes, 130," I said. "Oh, no, we charge 170-- 85 for the fronts, and 85 for the rears," was the reply. "Well, I was quoted 130." So after an unsuccessfull attempt to find a manager to approve it, the service writers grudgingly agree to do the job for 130. I got a call later in the day to say the vehicle was ready, and the price was 130 in labor, for a total of 150-something, including a 20-dollar "disposal fee." WHAT?! Nonsense-- don't dispose of them, then, I'll take them back. The receptionist tells me their trash may already have been picked up, so she doesn't know if she can give them back. Admitting that the 20 bucks was to toss them in the dumpster. It's a bogus charge, and I won't pay it, I tell her. She calls me back later to say they still have my shocks, and will return them, but the 20 dollar charge still applies, now under the guise of "shop supplies!" That's got to be two cases worth of shop rags, none of which were probably used. So I go to get the vehicle later and ask for the manager to sort it out. The receptionist tells me that she'd been authorized since we last spoke to remove the charge, but to warn me that they won't do it again, only this one time. Not to worry, I'll never be back here. What a transparent ruse to try to gouge me out of some of the difference between the quote, and the price they'd have preferred to charge. Tires have disposal fees. Shocks do not. If you charge 170, then quote me 170. Don't make up false charges to pad the bill. Rip-off artists. More
They are great at selling you a vehicle. However this is where the great service ends. If you are one who loves terrible customer service and appreciates being treated as an inconvenience this is the deale where the great service ends. If you are one who loves terrible customer service and appreciates being treated as an inconvenience this is the dealership for you. The service department has to be one of the rudest businesses I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They cannot diagnose anything. The only thing they were ever able to fix with the truck was something I diagnosed for them. They wanted to sell me a new console shifter unit for $700 due to what they called, "pop rot", when a simple sensor that ran $50 was all that was wrong. The kicker after all this was when I went to pick up my truck they busted the top off the shift knob. Apparently they did not read the how to remove that is clearly posted on any F-150 forum. Luckily after some discussion I convinced them that having me glue the top back on was not a sufficient fix, and they reluctantly gave me a new shift knob. From my dealings they are dishonest, shady, and should not be trusted to diagnose and fix a broken big wheel let alone a complex and expensive vehicle. If you are looking for a Ford dealer look elsewhere. More
I've been in a few times for service, but my main reason in writing this review is that Lee went above and beyond the call of duty. I went in to get an estimate on a dent that was caused about three weeks in writing this review is that Lee went above and beyond the call of duty. I went in to get an estimate on a dent that was caused about three weeks ago. I saw Lee working, and just wanted to say hello, and he asked how things went. I told him about my dilemma and he took it upon himself to track down the name and number of Carmedic. It had already been a long day for Lee, but he didn't make me feel like I was another interruption. He took the time to find a solution to my problem. This is an example of extraordinary service, a reason to keep coming back! I hope Lee is recognized for his efforts! More
The repair department was my worst experience. In my opinion they clearly do not understand the vehicles they are working on. I brought in my truck with a specific problem, with specific symptoms. Their opinion they clearly do not understand the vehicles they are working on. I brought in my truck with a specific problem, with specific symptoms. Their all knowing computer said it was one injector and a sensor. I specifically asked the mechanic that if I gave them the $1400 they were asking for to replace two small parts, would it be running good. He replied, yes it would be running pretty good. I picked up the truck after they said the problem was fixed. The truck had the exact same symptoms and the exact same problem. They hooked the truck back up to the same computer and now it was three different injectors and a wiring harness. They refused to stand behind their work and now want more money to fix the same problem and they still will not guarantee this will fix it. In my car repair experience I believe they are chasing an electrical problem that they don't understand. Instead they want me to throw money at them so they can throw parts at it. Furthermore, I reported them to the BBB to try and resolve this and they responded with a complete lie. I feel that the employees at Phil Long are untrustworthy, under skilled, and are only out to make money off of people. Finally the people I've dealt with in the sales department have little technical knowledge of the vehicles they're trying to sell. I've only experienced high pressure sales tactics and on a test drive, the sales guy crashed one new truck into the one parked next to it. So two poor people are going to buy a "new" damaged truck. Plus I've found cheaper new cars at other local dealers. The parts department couldn't even find a bolt I needed and their prices are very high. I have found that I can get it cheaper and quicker elsewhere. I've had horrible experiences in every department I've been in. Obviously I will never spend another penny here. More
