Reasons why customes return! I purchased a used car recently from Phil Long, and by an oversight the jack tools were not in the vehicle wth the sale. I unfortuneatly picked up a I purchased a used car recently from Phil Long, and by an oversight the jack tools were not in the vehicle wth the sale. I unfortuneatly picked up a nail a couple of days ago and did not realize it had happend in my communite. When I did realize, the outside wall had some damage and I was told the tire couple not be repaired. I do have a tire warranty, but as this is an All wheel drive, I would need to replace all 4 wheels. I had just purchesed tickets to go out of town for the holiday and compouded by the fact I was not able to change the tire, I would need to pay for 3 to make the full set was not something I could manage immediately. I called my sales person to explain the situation and was quite frustrated. He told me that he was working on something to assist me, and when I returned the next day to drop off the rental and pick up my car, he told me that he had handled it. I was not sure what he meant so I asked.. and it turned out that he paid for the tires personally. I know this does not happen every day, but I was a life saver to me! I understand why something has always pulled my back to Phil Long Ford Denver. Their was a lady there yesterday who had purchased from the dealership in the past and was now bringing her daughter to purchase her first car.... I fully understand why!
