They cl DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE OR HAVE SERVICE PERFORMED BY FORD. My 2010 Raptor 6.2 with 70K miles needs a new engine according to Phil Long service. They claim that a compression test (no leakage tests or cylinder inspections performed) indicate that a long block is necessary, cost $10k. Cats blew at about 55k due to same internal engine problem that Ford will not fix or admit to. Codes are showing random misfires on cylinders 4 and 7 but compression is low only on cylinder 1. Phil Long falsely claims that inspection of heads show no problem and indicate long block is necessary. More

Horrible Service - Take your vehicle somewhere else. Took my Truck in for 2 issues. First, a known Ford issue with the front end on the heavy duty pickups called "Death Wobble", and the 2nd, a known issue with the diesel DEF reductant heater failure which I had already diagnosed as a P20ba fault which means the heater was failed. I have an extended warranty through a 3rd party, so the service writer said he knew about the front end problems and what it would take to fix it. I then researched both issues online to find out that the "Death Wobble" issue has caused accidents and there is a pending class action lawsuit against Ford. The 2nd item was a recall on 2015 and earlier trucks. My truck was manufactured 1 month after that recall ended. I was informed that the front end problem was covered by my 3rd party warranty with me paying the $100 deductible. However, if I wanted it fixed right it would add another $132 for the correct "shims" and alignment to correct the underlying problem. As for the heater problem, I was quoted over $1100 to replace it and it was not covered under my 3rd party warranty. When I told them I would fix the DEF heater problem because it is a simple repair, he told me that I would then be charged $175 for the diagnosis which I already had done prior to bringing the truck in. The writer also said we do these heaters all of the time, which means a diagnosis was unnecessary as it is a well known problem. I immediately called Ford customer care which is the sunny side of this experience as they were very helpful and took care of "most" of the cost issues as both issues are extremely well known by Ford and the dealerships. I do love Ford for that reason. My problem lies with a service dept. that is willing to charge you for issues that are well know factory issues, and well known at the dealership, never suggesting you call Ford for assistance. Then turn around and charge you for un-needed diagnostics. In the end, I paid $367 for the service with Ford covering the rest. Sounds like a good deal until you realize they made my warranty company pay for a known safety issue on these trucks and me the deductible. I have worked on cars most of my life and cannot imagine what someone would have been charged had they not had the knowledge and willingness to research escalate the issues. This dealership continues to solidify my opinion that you should never have your car serviced at any dealership unless you absolutely have to. I loved the sales experience at this dealership but would never let them work on my truck again regardless of the quality of the repairs. More
The first time I tried to go to Phil Long Ford, the appointment I made online got lost in the system, and I was passed back and forth 4 times when I called only to be hung up on. When I finally was appointment I made online got lost in the system, and I was passed back and forth 4 times when I called only to be hung up on. When I finally was able to go for an appointment, I needed a regular oil change, and my 2017 f150 has an open recall on the engine block heater. When I got there, I was told I needed to go the Fast service line. I asked if that was where they would fix my recall and was told yes. I was 15 minutes late because of having to go to the Fast service, and a line had formed at the Fast service. When I finally made it inside, I was told that they couldn't help me with the recall, and that I would need to go to the place I'd first gone, another time. They told me that my engine block recall parts were placed on order and I'd hear back in a couple weeks. No call ever came, and I've called and left messages. I even found and used my customer number they gave me, but still I haven't heard anything back. Horrible experience so far. Jamie was very pleasant at the Fast service, but I called Parts Department many times and have never heard back. More

Best diesel techs in town. Pricing is fair, work is done right. I have a 6.7L F350 that's the workhorse for my business and I wouldn't put it in anyone else's hands no cap. right. I have a 6.7L F350 that's the workhorse for my business and I wouldn't put it in anyone else's hands no cap. More
