Poor diagnosis I took our convertible in to fix the air conditioning, as it was blowing warm. The service tech put Freon in and said that’s all it needed. He reporte I took our convertible in to fix the air conditioning, as it was blowing warm. The service tech put Freon in and said that’s all it needed. He reported it blew cold. However, when I picked the car up that afternoon, it was only blowing slightly cool. The service advisor went back to visit with the tech and them came back to tel me that the “next step” would be to replace the heater valve. After paying $226 to charge the system, it was going to cost an additional $340 for that. By the time I got home with the car, it was blowing warm again. Obviously the the Freon was gone, along with $226, and no resolution or confidence that they have diagnosed what the real problem is. More
