I just purchased my 3rd car from Peter's, second CRV. Chris is very thorough in communicating his product and his followup skills are excellent. He was always polite, professional and personable. We never felt pressure to make a decision. This is the first Honda I have owned and I have been pleasantly surprised with the overall performance of the vehicle. The service dept leaves something to be desired. I have always brought my vehicles in for scheduled maintenance but it seems that they aren't sure what the scheduled maintenance should be. There's a maintenance minder with a code that comes on when it's time for service but the service they perform is not the same as what's indicated in the manual. I recently brought my car for service at 29,000 miles (it actually had about 29,750 miles) when the light came on. The service Rep indicated this was only an oil change. As I was leaving he said we'll see you soon for the 30,000 mile sevice. Why didn't they perform both while I was there? If they can't be trusted with something as simple as that how will they perform when there's an issue? I have no confidence in them and will find another dealer. More
Recently purchased new Civic LX Sport through Luke LaStrange. I was very straightforward about my expectations - including their ability to match a warehouse club dealership offer - ahead of my visit LaStrange. I was very straightforward about my expectations - including their ability to match a warehouse club dealership offer - ahead of my visit. My husband and I were expected, car was ready for a drive and negotiations were almost painless. No games played and business manager had financing paperwork ready when we entered his office. We conveyed our intent to avoid any extra warranty commitments and they were very respectful of our wishes and our time. Picked car up the next day so they could do inspection and, again, all was ready. Very pleasant, professional experience. Subsequent follow-up has been the same. Will recommend and return to this dealer. More

I took my car in to have the brakes checked. They called me back said the braes were fine. I drove the car home and noticed it had a very bad shake. I called them and told them I did not feel safe driving t me back said the braes were fine. I drove the car home and noticed it had a very bad shake. I called them and told them I did not feel safe driving the car and that the shake was pretty bad and that I thought that they must have not tighted all the lug nuts on my tires when they put them back on. They towed the car back, called me and said everythign was fine and they had in fact tightened the lug nuts. They said either something was wrong with one of my tires or I hit a pothole. That was in December around Christmas. It is now Feb. 3rd and I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and the shake has still not gone away and there is now a noise that has started in the left front end. I took my car to another honda dealer and was informed that not only did Peters miss some obvious problems, they also did not tighten any of the lug nuts on my front left tire. As I said before, I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and I drive and hour every day - what they did was totally irresponsible and unacceptable. Everytime I have ever used them they seem very offended when I call and tell them what the problem is. This time they proved that they really could care less what the customer says. More
Buying a new car was something I was dreading, but each visit to Peter's (and we visited 3-4 times!), was a pressure-free, pleasant experience. We did not get any "games" as we had at other dealerships. On our first visit we met Dan (Sales Manager) and again he was straight forward and asserted no pressure or typical sales tactics. We then worked with Chris Cannata for about a week before making our final decision. Chris kept open communication with us, again with no pressure or sales tactics. He is a straight forward guy who allows you to take your time and come to your own decision. We feel that we got a great deal and just as importantly, we got treated as friends, not customers! Sure, many dealerships may match the price, but we went with Peter's because of the personal experience and how easy they made it for us. Both Chris and Dan are class acts and in my opinion they demonstrate how the car buying process should be! More
We purchased a 2010 Honda CR-V EX from Matt Atherton at Peters Honda, and it was the most pleasant experience I've had with any dealership to date. We walked in and were able to get a test drive immediate Peters Honda, and it was the most pleasant experience I've had with any dealership to date. We walked in and were able to get a test drive immediately in one of the many vehicles they had in stock (we had visited other dealerships in Nashua for comparison to other makes of SUV earlier in the day, and the selection at Peters was by far the best). Negotiation was fairly low pressure and there was a minimum of back and forth during the negotiation (none of the typical "let me check with my manager... oh, we can't possibly do that price" back and forth that I've endured hours of at other dealerships before, and none of the "forgetting" about promised discounts or other funny business), and I felt that we got a fair deal on the CR-V. We were able to pick up the vehicle the next day (our choice), and the finance department was reasonably quick to deal with; like everybody they want to sell you extended warranties, maintenance contracts, gap insurance, etc., but even there, they aren't overly pushy. We got a roof rack installed next weekend (which we had purchased but wasn't included initially due to us purchasing the vehicle on a Saturday evening), and that was installed well, and fairly quickly for us, at no additional cost. Overall, I was highly satisfied with this dealership and will recommend them to any family and friends looking for a Honda in the future. More

I specifically sought out Gary Tulchinsky as my salesperson as he makes the car buying experience pleasant. Gary knows his products, makes informed recommendations, and gives you time and space to come to your own conclusions. For this purchase I did visit other dealerships and felt that Peter's -- and Gary in particular -- give you the attention, relaxed atmosphere, and overall buying experience that a customer deserves. I had purchased a CRV from Bob in 2005. Me & my wife has an excellent experience with Bob. He was very professional and was not pushy at all like other car salesmen out there. Granted his initial price quote was much higher but he immediately matched the price of the best deal I got from one of the other CRV dealer. Today we visited him again to enquire about Insight. He was the same one gentleman like he was a few years back. Unfortunately Insight didn't fit my height. More
