2025 GMC 3500HD with 6 miles on it blew a tire 30 miles down the road. Changed to spare and drove 109 more miles. Stopped for dinner and truck would not start. Towed to Perrysburg GMC. They had it all day, rewired some wires and started to give it back because it was starting and when they tried to bring it out front would not start again. Had the truck 4 more days. Then said it was ready to pick up. When I asked what they fixed this time that was different from last time, she stated nothing. GMC advised them to change the engine control module, however when they came in this morning the truck is starting so the tech decided not to do it and give it back. I said that is unacceptable. I didn't want to be stranded again. If GMC said to change it, it needs changed. So, they did. 3 days later Dover GMC went to pick it up from Perrysburg to give it back to us. Dover GMC drove it from Perrysburg dealership, turned it off and it would not start again. 23 days went by, and we still had no truck. Eventually Dover GMC swapped out the truck for another truck. However, I made it very clear to Perrysburg I did not want wires giggled and the truck given back, and that is all they did. The lemon issues of a $93,000 2025 Denali are not Perrysburg's fault, however I am not happy with how they handled troubleshooting, and lack of communication. More
I scheduled an appointment online after receiving a recall letter. When I arrived, they informed me that they didn't have the part and hadn't had it for months. My Family and I had to communicate back and forth with Volvo Corporate Customer Service to end up getting our repair covered under warranty. In addition, we set up an appointment to have our Volvo repai Volvo Corporate Customer Service to end up getting our repair covered under warranty. In addition, we set up an appointment to have our Volvo repaired and then once we noticed that our vehicle was still not pulled into a service bay (an hour past our appointment time). We inquired and were approached by the service rep with "I hear you are complaining" and then was informed that the appointment time was actually a drop off time. When a dedicated Volvo customer has to drive two hours round trip to get to the service appointment, we wish we would have known and we would have not left so early in the morning. A week after the service we noticed a small puncture in the interior door panel on the driver's side (where the repairs were being conducted on the seat) but decided not to report it due to the blame would be put on my wife and I as was the initial warranty work that was performed after having to go to Volvo Corporate. Hope our customer service in the future improves. We understand that all have a bad day once in awhile. More
