My sister and I came into Kings Honda to look for a car. We had both been in a head-on collision on October 8th and were looking for a replacement car. After exiting our car, Al Glover immediately came outside, introduced himself and shook our hands. He was friendly yet efficient and wasted no time completing the most important part of the sales call—uncovering customer needs. He asked what we were looking for, and we told him a used car. Unlike other dealers we had visited, he was pleased with that suggestion and took us immediately to the used car lot and showed us several models to accommodate our needs. We were specifically interested in the Honda CR-V EXL. We travel about 25,000-30,000 per year and since these cars had about 22,000+ on them, we asked Al to show us the new cars. Not once did he try to push us to toward a new car. He was sincerely more interested in helping us get the car WE need instead of making the sale that HE needed—proving his sincere care for the customer. He drove us to the new car lot and since my sister was in a neck brace due to the accident, we stayed in the parking lot to drive the car, which exceed our expectations. Afterwards we returned to the office and again, Al did not pressure us. He has a keen skill between guiding the customer and pressuring the customer and he truly knows how to guide the customer to the best solution. We were interested in a white Honda EXL and there was not one on the lot and after some back and forth negotiations, we agreed on a final price based on locating the white Honda. We left and returned the following week and Al located the car for us, diligently covered all the details of the car, had each of us review the “workings” of the car for the drive home. Even when we walked into the service bay, one of the ladies got off her stool and came over, shook our hands and introduced herself. She didn’t know why we were there and cared enough to do that! Las, we went to the financial office. The closing was handled efficiently and quickly (I do not know his name, but he was great!). Al pulled the car around, made sure we were in the car securely, and knew where all the right buttons were for the ride home. Al is a role model for customer service and should be training others. I have dreaded dealing with a new car purchase all year. Previous experience has been very negative, with condescending high pressure sales people. Then, I visited your dealership with my daughter who was also looking to replace her vehicle. Marc Kowalk met us immediately, and offered a test drive of the CRV. He gave us contact information, and offered whatever help we might need. He answered our questions about the vehicle, and options available. There was no pressure whatsoever, unlike the 4 other dealerships we visited that afternoon. My husband and I returned 3 times to test drive, and discuss replacing our vehicle. When we finally decided on the CRV model we wanted, Marc immediately began a search for it. It was located shortly after, and was delivered to us within the week. The transaction at the dealership was handled with professionalism and courtesy. Both Marc and Holly, the financial manager, had everything ready, and the whole thing took less than an hour. Mark set up the navigation system for our home address, and also set up my blue tooth connection. He gave us a full orientation to all the "bells and whistles" included on the vehicle. In summary, our experience with your dealership has been a great one. I especially want to emphasize the exemplary attention received from our salesman, Marc Kowalk. Also, what brought me to your dealership in the first place was your arrangement with USAA; we have been member for many years, and trust anyone they recommend. More

We drove from Louisville and met with her. She had the paperwork completed and the car was ready with balloons. Overall, it was a very easy car buying experience. Gulia was excellent. The car we wanted to look at had a dead battery and stains throughout the interior. We looked at another car (used car) and were twice offered less than what Autotrader would give for our car. They also were kind enough to offer us sticker price on both separate occasions. They treated us like we were idiots until we walked out. That's when they were willing to start negotiating with us. I received a voicemail on my way home from there saying "there was some miscommunication between me and my boss." No kidding. They will be happy to know that we went to Superior Honda where they were kind, friendly, and willing to work with us. We were able to get a brand new vehicle with 8 miles on it for a comparable price to what Kings was offering us for a year older model with 20000 miles on it. Thank you, Kings, for ticking us off and allowing us to find a great deal and customer service elsewhere. If you are in the greater Cincinnati area, I would highly recommend against Kings Honda. A little further south, Superior Honda was excellent. More

We took a test drive then he went over the features of the Honda Accord with us, answered all of our questions, and then left us alone to decide what we wanted to do. Jody Haskin worked with us on the financing and he, too, answered all of our questions and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't want or need. We highly recommend you visit Kings Honda and see Glen Standafer if you're in the market for a quality new car! More
