Spoke with Cody. I explained we had a 7 hour round trip, and I asked about the van's condition because I didn't want to waste my time with such a long drive. I asked about tires, tread depth, any undisclosed issues, etc. Cody explained they fully inspected the vehicle and completed needed repairs at intake. The vehicle was in great shape. I came ready to purchase the car for their asking price. Cashiers check, financing pre-approval, etc. At first inspection, the battery needs jumped, a headlight is out, the sliding door is squealing metal-on-metal, and the tires have 50% life, not 80% like I was told. I ask if they're willing to fix some issues because, despite the annoying situation, we're still interested. They explain the van is competitively priced and they're not willing to fix anything. All that is fine and great, but here's my issue: If someone calls, explains they have a 7 hour round trip to check out the vehicle, and a staff member say it's great, gone through inspection, nothing is wrong, and then I arrive to find obvious, undisclosed issues... you have been dishonest, and you have wasted my time. I was really hoping for a better experience than this. More
