I have had very positive experience with the exception of one time with sales. Salesman Shamus is excellent. Service is atrocious. Always new staff at Service desk and shop. I experienced mechanics. Attempted to sell Unnecessary parts and unnecessary service on more than one occasion multiple times. Last visit, mechanic cause damage to the vehicle, which have to be debated for the dealer to admit and correct which they did. However, I was given no compensation for not having the car for 3 days. I was also lied to by the service manager. Anthony Rubino. His attitude and customer service is absolutely horrible. He's is condescending and arrogant when speaking to customers. I elevate my complaint to the Vice President Douglas Raleigh, to which I thought was a positive discussion.However, I have not received any responses or emails or updates or telephone calls regarding my complaint or issue. My communications are ignored. I have now place in a complaint to Ford Corporate. DO NOT USE SERVICE DEPARTMENT! More
I brought a classic Mustang to Performance Ford for a major maintenance early this year. The car did not make it 20 miles from leaving the shop until a breakdown on the highway requiring the car to be to major maintenance early this year. The car did not make it 20 miles from leaving the shop until a breakdown on the highway requiring the car to be towed. Ford customer service was terrible. I had to call several times and finally email higher up management before they retrieved the car and towed it back to their shop. In spite of requests to keep me updated they did not let me know they had the car and then left a brief vague message about it being fixed. I could not trust that assessment and had to take it to another more reliable garage for a finally assessment of the problem they caused. The ordeal took several weeks and they would not provide a loaner during this time. More
Service department is not helpful when you purchase extended warranty on used vehicles. Another dealer has my truck waiting for authorization for over week. John the service writer who helped me was friendly, helpful and efficient with time making sure to get back to me as so Hanover’s service department. DO NOT PLAN ON RETURNING HERE FOR ANY TYPE OF SERVICE. Do yourself a favor and go to any other dealer. I have never seen such incompetence and a less helpful service department. Performance Ford in East Hanover & Randolph have THE WORST service. This was my first and last Ford. Terrible- took over 7 months to get my automatic start fixed-still isn’t fixed. This has been the worst customer service and repair experience I've ever had. My truck has been at their shop since June 6th. Within these couple of months I've had five different service reps work wit experience I've ever had. My truck has been at their shop since June 6th. Within these couple of months I've had five different service reps work with me. The first three were either fired or left. When I called to find out information about my vehicle Paul said Shane (who was the third guy on the job) didn't show up to work and didn't call so he's not sure what's going on. They have been completely unprofessional and unreliable. The only reason I've left my car there as long as I have is because they started the repair and stopped due to backed up shipment, but it's been nearly four months and I'm still waiting on my car. They did not provide me a courtesy vehicle for two and a half months until the fourth guy on the job finally asked me to come in and get a car. I will never ever return to this ford dealer and will certainly never recommend it to anyone. More
