Manny Hernandez is the most knowledgeable and helpful salesman I've ever dealt with and as a new contact Fiona Doran is service is spectacular. I had an unexpected leak in my rear axle of my truck this week and she got my truck in and out in a single day!!!!!!!!! At a dealer!!!!! She kept her word on the time frame and kept me informed. This was so important because I am leaving this week to go on vacation and needed my truck in tip top condition. She saved my trip!!!!!! I highly recommend this dealer and Service department!!!! Manny and Fiona ROCK!!!!!!! More
Worst dealer I have ever dealt with. Not only do they promise things they won't keep. They ignore calls or say will give you a call back and do that over and over Not only do they promise things they won't keep. They ignore calls or say will give you a call back and do that over and over More
I do not have the vocabulary to express how bad the service department at this dealership treats their customers. I have taken several vehicles in for different types of service and on each and every service department at this dealership treats their customers. I have taken several vehicles in for different types of service and on each and every occasion they have waaaay overpromised and underdelivered. There is zero communication and promises are seldom kept. On my truck it took 5 days to change light bulbs in the dash. The had to get them from the factory. I checked. NAPA had them in stock locally. Made and appt for my Focus to have recall work done. Had to order a part and would call me back. That was two years ago. They've never called me back. Took it in for warranty work on the transmission. Each night for 3 days, I called for status. "It will be ready tomorrow." This is the 3rd day and it's not ready yet. They've never once called me to tell me the status. I have to call them. This is a badly run service department. Even though it is really inconvenient for me, this is at the last time I go to this dealership. I will travel the extra miles necessary to try a different dealer. More
I purchased a Mustang Mach E online. When the vehicle arrived, I was told I would not be able to take ownership of the vehicle.without paying the $20k dealer adjustment plus an addition When the vehicle arrived, I was told I would not be able to take ownership of the vehicle.without paying the $20k dealer adjustment plus an additional $4,585 in dealer added items, which brought the total purchase price to $69,580 pre-tax. When I questioned the process, the Sales Manager (M.S.) told me that the dealership was under no obligation to sell me the car and that even though I made a deposit which Performance Ford cashed, that they did not have to honor the price and would not sell me the vehicle unless I agreed to his conditions. Long story short, after 3 hours, the $20k market adjustment was removed and we agreed to a reduced price on dealer added items which I did not want but after waiting for the car 7 months, I agreed to pay. I've purchased a new car every 3 years and needless to say, i will never purchase from Performance Ford ever again. The $3k you made cost you 3 future new car sales that i will be purchasing for my children. More
As a teacher and a military veteran, I will make sure to warn about this place. Was planning on buying a used Tundra from them today. The dealership was dishonest about the 4,000 dollar add-ons. I would hav warn about this place. Was planning on buying a used Tundra from them today. The dealership was dishonest about the 4,000 dollar add-ons. I would have purchased if they just simply honored their price. They absolutely could be removed however the dealer said Lo-Jack can't be removed....hummm....that's an absolute lie. It was from there that they tried to sell based on a lies. My recommendation is stay away from dealers like this that are taking advantage of people in these uncertain times for pure greed. Buyer beware, bait and switch. Stereotypical sleazy car dealership. More
Worst dealer ever Almost 30 days going past due on my trade I can possibly get 30 days past due on my credit report! I have made several attempts to get this corrected with them and all I get is the run trade I can possibly get 30 days past due on my credit report! I have made several attempts to get this corrected with them and all I get is the run around, They have been tell me fo the last two weeks the pay of was made but I have checked with Ally and it hasn't. Now I'm going to have to get an attorney involved! And Ally will probably never give me a loan again due to this dealership. They suck big time!!! Clyde D. I'm going to put this on every review I can. Plenty of Ford dealers out there but this isn't the one!! Don't ever write a review on a dealer when they send you emails wait until all your stuff is correct at least A Month maybe even two. More
I bought a suburban here which online it was a great deal but as soon as you go into the dealership, they automatically add $4000 on top of that price with 2 bogus fees that they say they disclose in fine pr but as soon as you go into the dealership, they automatically add $4000 on top of that price with 2 bogus fees that they say they disclose in fine print. Well come to find out this is their selling strategy. They pull people in with a low amount then as your going over the final price they add all these fees. Once we get the car, it’s dirty! The people didn’t even clean the car right. As we are driving away, we notice that they put less than a half of a tank of gas in it after they said they would fill it up. Just stay away! There are so many other car places that are better. This is by far the worst car dealership I have ever been to. Update! A day after leaving the 100% honest review, two of the sales managers called my husband harassing us and asking to take down the review and bring the car back. This dealership is beyond the worst imaginable place. I will be contacting Fords corporate office. More
Worst experience ever. I will not go there, nor call them again. Especially Manny who is in charge of ordering new vehicles. After 10 calls, I finally get to talk to him and he lied to me. When I cal them again. Especially Manny who is in charge of ordering new vehicles. After 10 calls, I finally get to talk to him and he lied to me. When I called Ford’s marketing office to check on my order of Maverick, the order wasn’t there. They patched me to him, and he was so nice to me and wanted to take care of my order. However, as soon as the Ford’s main office person left the call, he “acted” nice, but did the ordering without asking all the details. I don’t trust this guy or this dealership. He kept emphasizing that the car will cost more when it arrives. They really should fire Manny or they will keep loosing customers for sure. I wasted almost 2 months working with this dealership that did not return any of my calls, lied, and treated me like garbage. More
My girlfriend and I had a VERY AWFUL experience at Performance Ford in West Covina. In this review, I will recount our experience from start to finish with the salesman named MICHAEL A. (We’re not sur Performance Ford in West Covina. In this review, I will recount our experience from start to finish with the salesman named MICHAEL A. (We’re not sure if Aragon is the last name, but he’s tall with black hair). We went to the dealership hoping to test drive the Ford Bronco Outer Banks trim, which Performance Ford did not have in stock at the time. He then showed us the two Ford Broncos that were on the lot, which were the Big Bend (next up the base trim) and the Badlands Trim (2nd most expensive trim). Instead of simply apologizing that they don’t have the Outer Banks trim in stock, Michael A said that my girlfriend could simply do with the Big Bend trim because she does not really do off-roading. LIKE WHY AND HOW CAN YOU ASSUME THAT? We’ve gone off-roading at Cleghorn Ridge and the Mojave Road! We just laughed it off, but his tone and appearance were really condescending. We then proceeded to test drive the Big Bend. His unprofessionalism continued during the test drive. My girlfriend was behind the wheel. During test-drives, salespeople are supposed to tell you the features of the car. That was my experience at Mazda, Hyundai, and Kia. Michael A simply sat on the back seat as we chauffeured his bottom back to the dealership. Yikes. I did a lot more of the selling of the Bronco to my girlfriend than Michael A did because I had read of its features before coming to Performance Ford. We arrived back at the dealership to talk some numbers. Usually, at this point, car salespeople would ask you how you liked the test drive. HE DID NOT. He simply ushered us onto his table. He ran my girlfriend’s credit and came back with 3 monthly payment options. WE WERE SHOCKED. The car understandably had a mark-up because of the current chip and inventory shortage. However, my girlfriend has an EXCELLENT credit (770+), but we’re surprised to see how appalling their interest rates were at 6.99% for a 7-year car loan (yes 7!). We’re young people in our 20s, but we’re not dumb to bite that extremely high interest rate. Michael A’s atrocious behavior did not stop there! He was forcing me to cosign for my girlfriend in order to get the interest rate down. “I do that for my girlfriend, but I don’t know how you guys work”. I don’t know what that has to do with my decision to cosign for anyone, so that was an extreme xxx moment for me. I still kept my cool. Polite salespeople would ask “What can I do to earn your business?” For Michael A, it was all about the hard cold numbers. “Can you do $450? How about $430”? We’re negotiating on the PRICE of the vehicle, not our monthly payments. As it was becoming clear to him that we’re not going to buy the vehicle, he said “Maybe this is too much car for you.” He’s not only sexist and condescending, but also very discriminatory. I was very heated at this point, so I just walked out of the dealership. In summary, we had a TERRIBLE experience all because of Michael A. If you’re the general manager at Performance Ford, please seriously consider evaluating Michael A’s customer-service performance because he needs help. We’re still excited to buy the Ford Bronco, but we would DEFINITELY NOT buy it from Performance Ford in West Covina. More
