Service department is awful. Service manager is not responsive. general Manager is non responsive. Dealt with corrosion issues which took forever to fix doors then I’ve been on a Service manager is not responsive. general Manager is non responsive. Dealt with corrosion issues which took forever to fix doors then I’ve been on a wait list for two years to fix hood while doors are bubbling again. Recently had routine oil change and tire rotation done. Requested 5 tire rotation. Only rotated 4. By the time I got the car back the mechanic had left so I was left to deal with it. They asked me to drop the vehicle off at a different time so they could rotate them correctly. Another hassle added to my day since they couldn’t find a competent service tech. Seems like a small thing but when you pay for something you expect OEM to be trustworthy. Was also told by service advisor that they check and fill air in tires. Nope. So I can only hope they really changed the oil like they were supposed to. I’ve been loyal to this dealer for years. And I’m done. When a service manager nor GM cares enough to return calls they obviously don’t care about the customer. More
Working with the service people was a good experience. I had an extended warranty. Performance dodge was supposed to call my extended insurance (Cost me $3500) to approve the work. THEY HAVE NOT AND I WAS LEFT TO PAY FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION. $6000. THEY HAD MY PAPERWORK AND TOLD ME "I AM NOT SUPPOSED TO READ EVERY INSURANCE PAPER COMING THROUGH HERE." The truck was there for 5 weeks. I had to borrow trucks so i cab run my business I was told by the service manager that he would call me. I'm still waiting. More
I have had my wife's van into this dealership's service department several times and each time I discover that either the work is done poorly/improperly by normal Chrysler standards or they damage other pa department several times and each time I discover that either the work is done poorly/improperly by normal Chrysler standards or they damage other parts of our vehicle. Doug H. in service has tried his best to resolve the issues each time, but this has become what appears to be the norm for this department. So I then tried to find some satisfaction by talking with senior service department manager, and he just blew me off. In fact, what he said was, "well sir, yesterday we let you come into our service department without an appointment. I asked him, " is that all you have to say is you let me come into your department without an appointment?" "That doesn't resolve these issues, now does it sir?" In all my life, I've never had a car dealership act this way and treat me like I was interrupting their relaxed and unprofessional department. We will never visit this dealership again. More
Update to my post: NEVER AGAIN will I do business with this dealership! (27 Feb 2023). Zero resolution from dealership. Doug called me and ask to open a case with Chrysler. My response to him was it wa this dealership! (27 Feb 2023). Zero resolution from dealership. Doug called me and ask to open a case with Chrysler. My response to him was it wasn't Chrysler's fault the servicing tech broke the bolt(s). However, I opened a case and received zero response (no surprise). I dropped and fixed issue myself. The neglect and inaccurate information about my system almost costs me over $5K. I was told the DEF sensor caused flooding in the SCR which is why the recommendation to replace, however the SCR was extremely clean and dry (system worked as designed). Have pictures and video for reference. I believe in transparency and ethical business practices, which is why I felt compelled to share my experience. It's essential for us, as consumers, to be vigilant and hold businesses accountable for their actions. I urge you to exercise caution when dealing with Performance Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Centerville service department, and consider seeking a second opinion from a reputable mechanic before authorizing any repairs or services. NEVER AGAIN will I do business with this dealership! Long story short: Vehicle went in to diagnose/replace DEF injector. Tech broke two bolts when attempting to remove the injector which consequently Long story short: Vehicle went in to diagnose/replace DEF injector. Tech broke two bolts when attempting to remove the injector which consequently resulting in the recommendation to replace the SCR Catalytic Converter and all attached emission sensors (total 4), resulting in a $5.6K bill of my responsibility. The service writer's response "we live in the rust belt, it happens". SMH. When I questioned why all sensors needed replaced, again the service writer's response: "you would never be able to remove them due to rusting" So, if any one sensor fails (ranging from $100-400) then it will be a full SCR replacement at $5.6K? Does not seem reasonable. My advice to all: JUST BEWARE YOU WILL/ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGE CAUSED DURING SERVICE TO YOUR VEHICLE. CAN BE A VERY STARTLING LEARNING LESSON. In the end, I declined the work and was charged $284 for the damage and learned lesson. More
