Lost a potential buyer On July 15, 2014 I went into performance chevrolet located in Elizabeth city, nc to replace a worn tire. The dealership purchased the tire brand I wan On July 15, 2014 I went into performance chevrolet located in Elizabeth city, nc to replace a worn tire. The dealership purchased the tire brand I wanted the week prior of me getting there to actually put it on my camaro. At approximately 9:40 ish I pulled into the dealership. As soon as I pulled into the garage at the service desk they already knew whom I was and what I was there for. That being said, 3 hrs and some change later my car wasn't ready!! I only had to replace one tire and they told me it would only take 15 min!!! Throughout the time I was waiting I checked the status of the vehicle periodically to see when my car would be ready and no one could even find who knew any info about my vehicle and how long it would take at that point. I leave to go eat and come back and one of the ladies at the service desk stopped me to tell me they've been looking for me cause my car was done but found out that my car really wasn't done!!! At this point I'm frustrated and just want to leave because it just got even more ridiculous and I have to go to work. So now I'm ready to go. It takes them another 15-20 min to even find my keys...... I'm a patient person but I had to leave because of work. On my way to work I call RICK HENDRICK CHEVROLET located in Norfolk, Va. It's on the way to my job so I decided to call them and tell them my situation. They tell me to bring it on in and as soon as I pull up they come rushing to my car to take care of my needs, even brought the paperwork out to me because they knew of my situation. I reside in Elizabeth city and it's sad that I would rather drive an hr away to go to the same car dealership because of better service. Oh yea and joe from sales I'm sorry and yes I was going to purchase the C7 Corvette Stingray from you guys but I'm sure I'll rather take my business somewhere else now. More

The original financial institution that I worked with, after the financing w To say that this car buying experience was unique is an under statement. The original financial institution that I worked with, after the financing was approved and the car, a 2014 Cruze was delivered, refused to honor the deal. Performance Chevrolet, particularly Mike Lilly and Chris Barcliff, went above and beyond to ensure that we received a new car, a 2014 Impala. Through their efforts, we walked away as happy customers, instead of frustrated and dejected. I will always highly recommend this dealership to my friends and neighbors.
