Joe was great in beginning but then this place and Joe went down like the Titanic. I am writing a review because I am very unhappy with the service I received after the purchase of my 2013 Ford Edge. I found my automobile at performance auto and met Joe. In the beginning everything went well. I secured the car with a deposit and planned on picking up my car. Before delivery it was decided that I needed a passenger rear wheel bearing, as well as new front tires. I was supposed to pick up vehicle Dec 4th, 2021. On Dec 6 Joe called me and said he was using the car, heard another noise and decided they needed to replace the Rear End, fast forward as that took a VERY LONG TIME. Around February 10th I finally heard back from Joe and was told my part came in. Now a quick side bar, I saw that my car was still up for sale, and I even had a friend inquire about the Edge and they were told to come down and see it. Mind you I had a deposit and contract to buy, so I did bring this up to Joe and he said, “that’s not cool” and he was not aware of that. Now fast forward I get the car and about end of February I have the check engine light come on, I contacted Joe and he said bring it in. Joes’ mechanic checks and it’s an “evap” and that It’s a bad fuel cap. Then he tells me I put bad gas in. Joe says that’s probably not true. They clear the code; he says it should be good and that Fords are sensitive. It happens again and my boyfriend decided to take a look. It clearly needed a purge valve and since it was late Saturday my boyfriend changed it. Next, we get to April 26th I start to hear a noise in the back. I take it back to Joe and he says after he drives and puts it up on lift that it is now the drivers rear wheel bearing. I now order the part ($145) and have a mechanic fix ($165) it. The outside mechanic says there is still a noise. Well, I am told it is the passenger wheel bearing, so now I must change this one and before I got the car the passenger wheel bearing was supposed to be changed. I don’t understand if you put it on a lift and listened his mechanic should have realized that it was the passenger and not the driver and I would have not wasted money. I expressed to Joe that I felt he should have covered the work I had done. He said the car was not covered since I only had 30 days, but he was supposed to give me a working part and when he diagnosed the second time, he was wrong. I was not comfortable trusting his mechanics either. Now the kicker; we took the car for a road trip and the next day we noticed a wet area my boyfriend wiped underneath and said the transmission bolt was hardly on and we could have lost the transmission fluid. Unbelievable. Last but not least the car also was supposed to have cold AC. Well, the car has no AC and when you buy a car in the winter and turn the AC on it’s cold but 5-hour drive on a 90-degree day NO AC. Most likely they never even checked. It is not the Freon and now may be a much bigger job. I explained all this to Joe he tried to turn it on me, and I do not think I was sold a car I was promised. I was deceived and once Joe got his payday, he was not helpful. This is not a company I would recommend. I feel they should cover my costs since for the price of the car I deserve a worthy automobile at least with AC. Don’t trust that place. Rachel More

Sean was patient, kind, helpful and was phenomenally service-oriented. They went out of their way to provide great service (ie picking me up from the train, answering all of my questions, taking the car to the manufacturer to have the recalls closed out, etc), and were phenomenally easy to work with. Their pricing was transparent - they do not charge any of the hidden fees that other used car dealers typically surprise you with - and negotiating with them was fair and fact based. I would highly recommend working with them again! More
